Just forget about the supplements and hit the gym 1st.
What is your body type? Skinny or abit plump?

You mentioned you want to look fit without the bulk (it's actually very difficult to bulk up w muscle) with veins and lines (veins = steroids unless single digit bodyfat)

Go gym for a couple of mths and see your progress. Then adjust your diet accordingly. Avoid those fat burner as those are not permanent unless you adjust your food intake. Better to count your calories intake.

For fat newbies, it is possible to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time on a restricted calorie intake, its call "noobgain".

Just eat less high calorie food, increase protein consumption and hit the gym 3~4 times a week.

Key for newbie is consistency.

Used it when I was 20. I lost almost 30KG in 4 months! From 110KG to 80KG. Ppl keep asking whether I'm using drugs. But then I realize it's not healthy though. Imagine what can happen to your liver.
