Effective 2 November 2015, Maxis had revised all Spotify Premium pricing subscribed via Maxis to RM9.99/month. However, if you are a MaxisONE plan 128, MaxisONE plan 158 or MaxisONE plan 188 customer, you will get to enjoy Spotify Premium for free and more than 15GB of Spotify data (not applicable for song browsing, which includes scrolling through albums and playlists with artwork).

What about user previously on rm10 + 150mb ? Will they still receive the 150mb free?

Both are converted to:
RM9.99 monthly fee
Data usage applies to music streaming and app browsing

Kindly explain how this 15GB worth of data works? Does the system automatically detects streams and not credit it to our internet quota?

This mean no more 150MB 3G data as part of the Spotify package?

Still not clear on how the 15GB data works.
Do you mean when we streaming through Spotify, it will not be counted on data plan that we subscribe? (Separate quota with subscribed data plan?)
Or the 15GB only started count after subscribed data plan finished?

Customer who subscribes to MaxisOne Plan 128 and above will enjoy unlimited streaming on Spotify Premium (Downloading is not included). Rest assured any usage while streaming on Spotify premium will not consume your mobile data.

I am MaxisONE plan 128 user, I get sms yesterday that I was eligible for Spotify Premium. I proceeded the step by step and downloaded MyMaxis app on my phone, the next step would be tap on Spotify Premium banner on MyMaxis app to create ID and download Spotify. However when I clicked on the promo banner shown on MyMaxis app, it keep direct me to maxis website where step by step to activate Spotify is. So how suppose do I get to the create ID and download Spotify segment?

P/S : Was using mobile network and already log in to MyMaxis app.

For you to subscribe to the Spotify premium, kindly clear your device browser cache and turn off your wifi connection. Pls make sure that the connection use is from your mobile data. Enter www.m.maxis.com.my/spotify from your default device browser. Make sure your browser is set under mobile view instead of desktop view. The subscription button is available when you went to the correct web page.

Hope above is helping you on the issue. Do PM yr mobile number should you still face any issue on the subscription.

if you are using android phone and used google chrome browser, please turn off the data saver features if you keep getting redirected to the maxis websites.
