Has anyone ordered dell laptop from November 10 onward? How's is your order goes? Delivered?

Because I ordered one from teng_08 at 9 November, till now the item stuck at Malaysia customs. The ETA keep delay till December.

Anyone facing this before??

Ordered mine on thurs night and it's out on delivery since yesterday night.

I noticed in the spec it lists the hdd as hybrid type. An error maybe?

And does it come with a Dell Tek backpack?

Btw, I forgot to inform the seller which color I wanted. Hopefully it's the black one.

Greeted with the message 'AC adapter wattage and type cannot be determined' during the first few power on, but it somehow disappears after I install windows

HDD is the normal seagate 1tb, not the hybrid as claimed by EIT on lazada. And yeah, no free dell tek backpack from EIT.

LCD panel in my unit is LGD04B9. The rest of the specs are as listed.
I put windows 8.1 iso on a fat32 usb drive, then added bootx64.efi to the uefi boot menu. managed to install and upgrade to windows 10 smoothly this way.
my institution provides free microsoft licences.

I think the system is booting to the EFI partition which contains dell diagnostic.  If you have windows 7 x64, I think it is better to use UEFI.

Ordered mine on thursday night and arrived yesterday.

Hmm... mine says two year for pro support and parts, but strangely only one year next business day on-site.

Should I be concerned?  Please check yours when arrive

as for the windows, I finally install it (enable the legacy boot in bios), my hdd is samsung
but right now, every time I turn on it, I must enter boot option and select hard disk
else will pop out dell software to check any error
can you guide me ??

*btw I use my desktop and use  windows 7 usb tool software to format my usb flash drive into ntfs so can boot in usb, just like desktop

i5 7559, now currently got offered by lowyat dealer at rm 3190 include gst dos version, any recommended best price available? got combo with ram and ssd if possible

PC / Mobile technology is like that one. Waiting is forever, so just buy what best today.

The 960m wasn't a very good card to begin with. It is only average when compared to all the current mobile cards and near low tier when compared with the desktop equivalents.

Still it's good enough for most modern games if you can live with lower graphics quality. I use an 860m, still able to play Doom with full 60fps at 1680x1050 with med graphics and AA set to the lowest.

You pay for what you get I guess. If you're going to sell it off, better do it before the 1060 starts retailing commercially.
