Man, the specs and performance makes me very interested to upgrade, but then again my 2 year old laptop with the 970M is still ok but i would prefer to play the latest titles at 1080P with max settings at above 60fps.

Top player or people with "deep pockets"?

I dont need a GTX 1080 since i will continue to game at 1080 on a 15" screen, or output to a monitor. I rather pump up the graphics while maintaining above 60FPS with g-sync.

If i can find someone to sell my current laptop, i will get myself an asus model.

If can offset my current laptop with 970M, maybe can sell for RM4K, then i wont mind to top-up for a 1070 with g-sync, i can reuse my SSD.

I have a clevo model.

Thinking of getting an asus since clevo models are notorious for poor support down the line.

But then again, my industry now quite gloomy, so maybe i need to put this purchase on hold until the economy picks up.

No, not illegear. But just like most clevo, the driver support doesnt get updated frequently for my liking.
