Skylake and Haswell also not much difference if you really want to talk about performance wise

Just that Skylake got some new features which most people won't care.

I don't think you will see the difference in a laptop that much.

DDR4 does not save battery and does not contribute to any performance increase tbh.

Just that DDR4 has much lower voltage, if you are pairing it with Skylake, they said it's beneficial.

No idea how much difference does it make, but I'm running a Skylake desktop with 32gb HyperX DDR4.

Not much difference compared to my Ivy bridge 3770 on 32gb DDR3

As long as you remove the M.2 SSD and don't touch the HDD, you're all set for warranty.

Most are buying this Inspiron for gaming. I would consider battery life = good to have but not one of the main factor tbh....
