Just now go lowyat plaza and survey the gtx 1050's laptops,
The available model was the lenovo y520, asus rog strix gl553vd, dell 7567 Lenovo y520 (RM 3299) - build quality : very nice and rigid i might say, solid. - design : slick and does not shout for attention - screen : nice and crisp - sound : the only thing that is quite bad, not good enough for this range of price Asus Rog strix GL553vd (RM 3699) - build quality : quite cheap, and bad texture chosen compared to previous model. - design : glowing logo, rgb keyboard, u know it is a gaming laptop - screen : how to say, normal 1080p screen? - sound : the best part of the laptop, speaker is nice! Dell 7567 (RM 3899) - build quality : solid and rigid, the best among the three laptops - design : profesional, exclusive design. Well played dell. - screen : nice but whitish like most other review said - sound : the best among the three, nice woofer and crisp sound *this is purely based on touch2 experiences on few aspects ( build quality, design, screen, sound) **All are using i5 kabylake, gtx1050 *** not a profesional reviewer or tech guru, just a normal guy giving opinion to another normal guy who is looking for comparison for this year budget gaming laptop Feel free to add any other points haha |

QUOTE(ohde @ Apr 2 2017, 07:11 PM) Thanks for sharing! I'm quite impressive with Lenovo Y520. hey bro, glad it help you haha,Actually was looking for 15" FHD Anti-Glare laptop but quite difficult to find from normal consumer laptop. Then discovered this model, everything seems fit my requirements. however, will it too wasted if choose a gaming laptop if i didn't game at all (very very light gaming) ?? in my opinion, it is better because gaming laptop cooling is much better compared to normal laptop, hence may lead to longer life. but the speaker is quite so-so for me, but can be solve with a bluetooth speaker i guess? however this is totally my opinion though, maybe sifus here can give better opinions |
