GTX 1050 desktop is rumor to be out by end of October.
If it is true, then laptop version probably will come out around November or December.

GTX 1050 desktop rumor performance is around 2.1TFLOPs(Probably highest on Boost).

GTX 960M performance is around 1.3TFLOPs.
GTX 970M performance is around 2.3TFLOPs.

So, I'm guessing that the next mobile GTX 1050(probably replacing GTX 960M) will be a bit slower than the GTX 970M.

Again, just a rough guess. icon_rolleyes.gif

Performance should be within 10% less on laptop compare to desktop.

Nice.
I think that new Inspiron will highly have GTX 1050.
Desktop GTX 1050 is rumor to be a 75W TDP card.
Turn it into a mobile GTX 1050, it should easily be lowered to 60W, the same TDP as GTX 960M.

Really? Sorry, have no idea what dfo means. Lol.
Nope no vindicator backpack, but they sold it to me for RM299 separately.

What's the difference between local and dfo?

Yeah, marketing.
But good for those who don't need backpack.

With backpack - RM9,098
Without backpack - RM8,799

old time story, before Dell hike the RPP ... nod.gif

Sorry, I don't understand.

U mean old prices are cheaper than RM8,799 for Alienware 15 R3, i7-7700HQ, GTX 1070, 16GB RAM, 120Hz Gsync, 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD?

How bout the price compared to now? Can get cheaper than that also?

He not even Dell partner.. how to answer u... For 7th gen ALIENWARE.. tat a good price u getting de.. 9100 for 1070 is very good liao... Coz 1060 oso need rm9299 srp de..

Dell price up becoz MSI up price first.. since msi is major supplier for the GPU chip.. most brand who use their chipset hv no choice but to hike oso.

Asus hv their own GPU chip tat y they not affected major...
