I'm a newbie on this, i was planning to buy a gaming desktop below rm3000

Maybe u could state wut game are you targetting so dat ppl can suggest u specs.. some games are more graphic intensive n some are cpu intensive..

erm, games i would be playing like assasin creed iv, final fantasy 14 , saint row iv , COD- advanced warfare and etc.

IMHO, these game u state are graphic intensive when u play it offline (dun no if got online) .. so going with i3 will suffice.. no overclocking needed n with i3 u can go for gpu such as R9 280x , GTX770, GTX960 or any lower specs but no lower than 1.5ghz ddr5 graphic cards..

these are the specs i suggest in my humblest opinion for RM3k..

i3 - 4170
any basic MOBO can do as u dun overclock or SLI ur gpu
8gb ram
GTX960
120gb SSD for OS
1 terra harddisk
Mid-tower casing, go for good looking case
PSU - 500-600 watt bronze rated PSU

other please suggest specs for our bro here as well
