I think your is not Malaysia set, i also just got updated with around 63mb file

I just flash to Poland MM rom, the phone heat easily & very high power consumption.

I will try to do that, cause my phone has alot of data, need to backup properly.

Do u encountered phone easily getting hot & battery consumption higher? Mine even done factory reset still have that issue, phone never root before.

My phone still haven't rooted yet haha, it has been long time i didn't venture to phone rooting & flashing since ever i started using Note 3 previously, has been long time never use Titanium backup

Recently my phone easily get heating & battery drain extremely fast, when it down to 15% i can see it lost 1% in each 3sec, is it battery going to kong or motherboard got issue?

Around 15 mths, i just flashed back to Lollipop, see how its go.

I found out my phone's problem, the heating is due to the abnormal CPU temperature, i install CPU-Z & check the CPU temperature it always at 60++ degree & will shoot up to 80++ degree occasionally, i believe is the hardware issue. Anybody know how much to change the whole motherboard including the CPU?

That is the problem, the phone totally cannot used & put in pocket

I am facing this issue recently, after investigate the culprit was the Facebook app, i found the 4core cpu of Cortex-A57 still running at 1300mhz instead of 700mhz when the Facebook app is closed, the temperature of the CPU is heating and drain the battery extremely fast, what i did was go to developer options in setting, under Apps, enable 'Do not keep activities', now the heating & battery draining issue is gone.

In fact last time was okay, just happened recently when the app got updated.

Go play store download an app called CPU Z, monitor the cpu usage and temperature

If you didn't open any apps, for the cpu 0-3, it should be always at 400mhz, for cpu-4-7 at 700mhz, & cpu usage should be less than 5%.

Previously the FB app causing my phone's cpu 4-7 keep stuck at 1400mhz eventhough i have closed the app (still running background), temperature shoot up to 80 degree.

If you dont feel troublesome i suggest you factory reset your phone, i know it is terrible & i have went thru it several times recently due to this heating & battery draining issue.

No sure it is only happened in our Note 4 or other Samsung phone as well? But my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 didn't have this issue so far.
