Just installed e-robot v.16
Not bad but still monitoring for any glitch - hopefully as stable as v.15 - but signal reception is better than v.15

Hi guys, need help :

my mom Note 4 stuck at lock screen.  I don't know what she had done that suddenly asking for backup password. She using fingerprint to unlock the lock screen. The problem is she don't remember her backup password. Already tried many many times but still failed.

tried Android Device Manager, but she off the location hence cannot do anything with it  doh.gif

Want use Samsung account, but she not registered for it  doh.gif

My last  option is to factory reset it, but all her data will be gone  cry.gif

Also her note 4 is totally stock with no modifications.

Is there any other ways for it?  icon_question.gif

I kena twice during my S3 days, hard reset is the only answer.
Please write down the password in a small note book to be safe in the near future.

need advise here, do we need to full wipe to install new rom. ie using twrp when in wipe folder so i had to check all except the storage. or just do normal wipe will do.
*
just tick dalvik cache, cache & data, leave internal & sd card storage - do it 3x.
Go to home - wipe - slide to wipe.
This is what i always do.

You can use this method B4 fresh installing a rom.
After fresh installing a rom you only select Dalvik Cache and Cache.
