When i was i fag i wonder why Afags keep showing specs etc

So i bought a Note5 to see what specs are about in real usage.

Apa ni? Keluar kotak oledi 50% 4gb Ram gone. Belum start lagi. 32Gb storage already 7gb gone.

What specslah...?

For Android users and even Ifags. Dun belief what specs say. Even on youtube they keep comparing specs that are serioisly no relation to real usage.

So a hangphone might have Hires audiolah, this and thatlah....but in real life sounds no better than a Galaxy Y

when it come to audio quality, it is 80% fully dependent on hardware, software implementation (equlizer, normalizer, clearbass bla bla) will not help much.
although decent audio hardware usually takes alot of power compared to the efficient design.

yup, hires is overrated because there are lacking of source that using high bit rate.
also note5 is crap in audio quality even-though it have wolfson codec.

ESS Brings Music to Life in New Vivo Flagship Smartphone
New Xplay 5 Elite Smartphone Features Twin ES9028 SABRE HiFi DAC Design to Power Vivo HiFi 3.0

http://www.esstech.com/index.php/en/news/n...hip-smartphone/

Milpitas, California – ESS Technology, the industry leader in HiFi audio and analog design, today announced the Company’s ES9028 SABRE HiFi Digital to Analog Converter (DAC), implemented in a revolutionary twin DAC format, has been selected for Vivo’s new flagship smartphone – the Xplay 5 Elite. Vivo selected twin ES9028 SABRE DACs to power its HiFi 3.0 capabilities because of the ES9028’s superior dynamic range and award winning performance.  Raising the bar for HiFi audio design in smartphones, the Xplay 5 Elite uses two separate ES9028 DACs  - one DAC driving the left audio output and one driving the right audio output. This first in smartphone architecture follows the multi-DAC, multi-channel capabilities previously only available in high-end audiophile, component systems.

phone type audiophile hardware is piece of crap

i dont agree, it does make a difference or maybe because the generic design were too bad (especially on the amp section as the sound clipped on high volume). Even if generic dac were good enough, it always the cheap efficient amp design that spoil it, luckily there are phone manufacturer understand the need of better amp (e.g htc with htc 10)

no point having a super super good amp if important parts r not are not shield properly
especially phones

u can have a good amp, but a super 1 n expecting super quality in phone, it is over exaggerate

they keyword here is 'good enough', not peasant level of good enough, but audio lover kind of level (not to extend of picky audiophile level)
a little bit of distortion noise doesnt hurt.
