Actually AirAsia is not bad what other people think as most of it are being still held by the banks mainly CIMB and Maybank in terms of credits that is still due to be payout to customers as most people have locked in the cheap flights in 2019.

On the other hand the AAX is seriously is the one which is draining AA which is now the trouble due to country immigration laws

I’m waiting to see on what next they are willing to do come Dec especially on the change fees as most people will have to travel some sort domestically in Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia.

The only thing to look for is their hedging against markets especially fuel hedging which is denominated by USD which they will have to write off and the currency exchange is not favourable against them.

Most likely what will happen they will have to probably list their new company called Teleport most likely if the take up from the investment banking is willing to take risk to float it up as penny shares probably as low RM0.15 to raise capital since SK Investment might be will taking up a small stake.

No harm in holding unless you need the money

Bought because think about the business plan..
But as time passes by... Debt keep getting bigger with unreasonable orders of Airbus Planes... Then the fuel contract thingy.... So sold it..

Then saw got short term prospect when the poker guy entry..
Ride & sell at small profit later 😁😏🥳

No looking back for now .

Even now if the airline business is recovering fuel hedge will kill AA business

Their biggest mistake was even Airbus contract but the fuel hedging which kills them immediately running low cost high volume bus8ness doh.gif

This article of his press briefing...

https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/capi...-tony-fernandes

Unreasonable?

Quote:

"Datuk Kamarudin and myself remain committed to Capital A's recovery having been actively involved in steering the group through this crisis day-in, day-out over the past two years. We have also personally injected RM257.3 million — out of the RM974.5 million rights issue that was completed on Dec 31, 2021 — to support the turnaround plan," he said.

"However, while we are willing to provide the personal guarantees requested on top of our previous cash support through the rights issue, such a request for us to guarantee everyone’s exposure is unseemly for a public-listed company considering we are but two among many Capital A shareholders which also includes institutional investors," he added.

Really cannot believe he's claiming unfair!

How about the last time?

https://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/aira...-shareholders-0

That time, he borrowed to buy those special placement shares..

Shares were 1.80. Share price was then 2.45+ .... and then due to the sale and leaseback program, he got back 1.78 dividends per share.

Yup the placement of shares were only offered to Boss 1 and Boss 2.

How about the other shareholders?
The recent rights issue, about him putting in 257 million. Well, the others shareholders also put out money what. Apa la.

And now it's unfair to have both of them to be guarantor?

Never put money where his snakeskin mouth is anyway unlike his mentor who is willingness to even sell personal possessions to save the company doh.gif
