  Frequent users of social media would have seen this image floating about at one point or another. The image, a print ad for a plastic surgery clinic, depicts a family of five – an extremely good-looking couple accompanied with their three not-so-good-looking children. The caption which is in Mandarin, translates to “You only have to worry about how to explain to the children”; likely about why they turned out looking this way when their parents’ looks are on the opposite end of the spectrum. Several fake stories popped up on the Net regarding the image, with the most popular one about how a man sued his wife for producing such ugly children. This story was picked up by countless international media news outlets, resulting in memes and the birth of different variations of the story. Before the image went viral, Heidi Yeh, the Taiwanese female model in the advertisement, had worked for reputable brands and had also made appearances in numerous music videos. When she took up this job, it was stated in the contract with the ad agency, J.
