What position are you applying for? I worked there previously, superd colleagues, super environment. If you are the friendly and like to mingle type, it's the place for you. Ask me anything, I'll try to help. I was the pioneering batch there.

They are in the midst of transition of countries in asia pacific to the help desk at Menara TM. Depending on the countries already transitioned, generally you will be working 8 hours, and there will be 2 shifts in a day. The working environment is good, comparable to HP, physically I mean (tea/coffee/snacks etc with fridge, nothing fancy). The infrastructure are all new, AC blowing from the floor instead of the top. They are using Novell for File server (NOT OS and NOT file system). SAP will pay you well, and if you stick around, they have periodic cash bonus (i.e. not once every end of the year). The boss is very strict, but very fair and one of the best I've seen. If you screw up, you will get screwed, but own up to it, fix it, and you;re off to a great start.

As for benefits, I'm sure it will differ from one employee to another. But you can generally be sure of contractual bonus, performance bonus, medical, etc. But most importantly, they are new. And the chance to be part of the management team, to go up the food chain, is enormous. Depending on your negotiation skill. So you need to have good attitide, as things may still be a bit rocky, as in any transition and new set up.

They are engaging Accenture as part of the transition consulting team. Most of them are professional and friendly. Some of the ppl there came from ExxonMobil, ,Shell, HP etc., so you know the benefits are not at all bad.

BASC (that's what it's called) need good people with great attitude. If you think you have expertise in areas of helpdesk (SAP all modules), Lotus Notes R6/7, security, operations, HR/Finance, go to Kelly IT services. BASC need 400 ppl at least, and the last time I check, they have reached around 300.

received call from HR saying that they are in the midst of conducting reference checks. Is it a good sign?
