Can any sifus advise, why does my Lumia 920 cannot detect home wifi (Streamyx) but my office wifi seems to work well?
Any setting of the modem or what so ever?

try changing the wifi security from WPA/WEP or different channel? i have a lumia 920 last time but never had any issue, sold it off after having denim update for sometime

yeah give it a try, a lower encryption method will result in better signal & faster connection. If you do not want to mess those around you can try changing wifi channel?

If nothing works, try using wpa2 tkip+aes because that's what officially supported by Lumia mobiles
