Hi all,

I dont know if this is the right place to ask. Whenever i play dota, i started the game just fine with 0% packet loss and 30ms. However after some time, the whole screen will freeze but my hero animation is still there. After a few seconds, it will resume and skip to the present moment. At that time i realised my ping spiked up to 120 and above and my loss become 60%. It will gradually drop back to normal but after few minutes the same cycle occurs again.

This had never happen before when i am using 10mbps. Whats more i had upgraded my speed to 30mbps. My fps is constantly at 120 so i do not think is my hardware problem.

This only happen in dota 2. Other than that all just fine. I even run a ping test and it kept below 15ms all the time with 0% packet loss.

Any advice on what i should be looking in?

1. recently tm lines are being a lil shitty
2. just your luck that u get a bad server. sometimes i just loaded in, havent even pick hero. someone dc and then immediately "detected poor network conditions, game not recorded blablabla"
3. for me, every time before playing i just check ping with command promt "ping sgp-1.valve.net". sometimes i'll get 200 over ms, then i'll just dont even try to play
