Is Inokom Getz exactly the same as Hyundai Getz ah? Then can buy that car (coz cheaper) and spend the rest on modifications right?

Same name, but totally different specs..

Inokom getz 1.4
-new facelift
-new engine (1.4 lit DOHC), the old getz was 1.3A SOHC or 1.6A DOHC
-also comes with manual version, (old ones only auto)
-lower price for inokom getz 56K+ OTR for manual version as opposed to 58K+ OTR for 1.3A getz.. (2005 stock)
-No free bodykits
-got single airbag on the driver's side
-no abs, ebd... (1.6 getz got twin airbags, abs if i'm not mistaken..)
-got inokom logo (u might wanna change to hyundai logo later if u're ashamed with that inokom logo..)

the best thing is, lower FC than both 1.3 and 1.6! RM10@RM1.92/liter goes up to 90KM.., this has been tsted during Newspaper journalits test run back few months ago..

BTW, just got mine 1.3A version 2day.. oso black color.. not thinking of modding it for now.. not too much bodykits for the ol getz. besides, mine one ady came with free bodykit.

Mine is the prefacelifted model.. i guess its the same as yours.
only thing is, it is considered as "new" car even tho its a 2005 stock. hyundai's SAs kept pushing customers to get this 1.3 version becos they desperately want to clear all 2005 stocks ASAP. so they just gave all goodies they can to attcract customers. I got mine with free Bodykits, tint, foglamp (which is not the original one and might consider removing it later..) as well as RM14k of discounts (which they really shud give considering the fact that the car is 2005 make..)..

at first i ordered the 1.4 version, but then after failing to get it financed (after a hopeless waiting period of more than a month! , posibbly becos of the non pro-active SA), i went to other SA and ordered 1.3 version which takes only abt a week and a half from ordering to collecting the car! (not include public holiday)..hehe.. this guy is good i tell you.. he was like, "own" the finance officer or something, becos i even meet the finance officer for financing interview at his shop, and even signing the agreement there.. hehe

Inokom Getz is equal to Honda Getz and faster tham Hyundai Jazz

I got full loan RM58K.. even tho its full loan, the bank still consider this as 90% loan only becos the real market price for the car is ~RM72K. as i mentioned b4, hyundai gave a lot of discounts starting from august 06 till now since they are desperate to clear all 2005 stocks. the bk has become "standard accessories" now for that model.They add the bodykits just to attract more buyers to get the 2005 1.3 version. if u bought the 1.4 version, u wont get this bodykit lorr.. .. anyway, the bodykit is ok la.. only setback is its a fiber BK, easily scratched or dented..

that's the old model, now they have finished selling the 1.6 model, wan to clear the 1.3 model.

just yesterday i asked got no bodykit...

but when i ask the hyundai sa, they said they have no idea bout this news.. they even said that this is just a styling idea and they wont be selling it in the market. i guess u still need to install the bodykits separately.

boy that hyundai getz cross really made my day.. very rugged looking one la..

the price varies with different SA/hyundai showroom, and at different time.. at first i went to kajang sentral showroom, they quoted RM56k only (w/out insurance and rdtax la..).. so basiccaly abt RM57k++ OTR. they even wanna give me tint,pair of original foglamps, steering lock, bodykits of cos came as standard and full tank of petrol some more.. but in the end, i failed to get financed and search for another sa from another showroom instead.. this sa only promised to give tint only at the price of RM58k OTR.. oh well, as long as i got financed its ok wit me.. aftrall, those add-ons accessories are just bonus only..

i dropped by a hyundai showroom along jalan klang lama today to get a glimpse of the new facelifted getz. the SA told me that they are currently having a promotion for the CBU getz 1.4 auto (with airbags/ABS+EBD), and are selling it for RM56k++! the original price is RM71k++. this is an awesome deal! didnt manage to get more details though as i was in a hurry. anyone else can confirm this, or is the SA playing a joke on me??

Whoaaa man.. that is sure a darn good deal! if its true, than go getz it.. If the SA himself told u this, i guess its surely, mostly true la.. darn!! i shud have waited longer for this deal.. becos the new ckd manual version (inokom) oso at the same selling price as the cbu 1.4 that u said.., but lack abs+ebd..
and somemore, i think u can oso get full loan for that cbu.. i wonder why at the time i went to hyundai, the sa nvr told me anything bout this.. i guess they just want to wait until its 2007 to "release" the news...

but one thing that i cant stand (or believe) is how come that 2006 CBU 1.4 version is cheaper than 2005 CBU 1.3 version?.. i bought mine 1.3 @ 58K.. then, came this news of 1.4,CBU, facelifted somemore (of cos year 2006 stock) @ only RM56K??.. hmm.. unbelievable if its true!
