any copperhead owners here who actually upgraded their mouse firmware? any point to upgrading?

I've upgraded mine to v6.18 though, guess it's just some minor performance tweak. It has been a while Razer release updates for Copperhead, are they abandoning us?

Got it bro. I sent it to Razer's Representative oledi. Will wait for their feedback. But the squeeking is really bad. I think it's more like screetching. Like those tyre burning sound. For me, it really sounds irritating. I would have RMA it. I'll post any answers I get from them here lo.

what kinda cold boot issues are there?

I know i have one weird problem with the detection of my copperhead if i press the reset button or my pc hangs and reboots itself without a proper shutdown...will then need to unplug the razar usb and replug in before de mouse is detected again.

Mine is that the mouse won't be detected by the usb when the pc starts, need to unplug and plug it back to work. Upgrading firmware fixed my problem, you should try too, it might just solve it.

Razer reps wants to know how many ppl got this problem. They seems to take it very seriously. For those who are having this problem, kindly let me know, I'll forward the number of faulty units to them and hope to get some solution from them soon.

i have the squeaking sound too but not that often...i guess mine can be called a minor case...just to put on record...

I just bought the razer copperhead and i just want to know wht is On The Fly Sensitivity function does?

I don't think all DA has the squeeking sound eh. Mine work fine though.
