but they recommended 4" to be the min, 3" it might lose details especially at the snake tongue.

not exactly.
for the 2nd one, everything green you see is the sticky part. there is nothing in between or around it. the 1st one, same...nothing at all around it. ie. for both its just the outlines only, just how i want it. and yea, you can say there was alot of wasted green sticky stuff This post has been edited by Everdying: Jan 6 2007, 11:18 PM |

actually no need for bulk...theres no minimum order.
but of cos i dont want to keep going back and forth everytime. so maybe for now, if got every 10 orders then i go, and takes about 2-3 days for them to do. just let me know how many of each you want. will be something like RM8-9 for the 1st one, and RM5 for the 2nd one cos its 4"x4". i asked them to do a 3"x3" sample just to see if the snake tongue loses detail, that one will of cos be cheaper if it can be done properly. but looking at the 4" one, the size actually looks just right. |

hmm, i see they resurrected the boomslang CE after more than a yr of ppl wondering what happened.
also you wont be able to buy it at shops. plans before was to only sell it to invited ppl, and IIRC at a price of USD199. also was supposed to have a titanium shell or something similar. |

QUOTE(calvinfc @ Jan 9 2007, 02:06 PM) the 2nd one one got UV?..hehe i got interested..... to stick at my rig there... razer krait got free one..n it doesn't really match with my rig .... they dont have UV stickers the closest material they have is reflector ones, like those you see on safety jackets/jogging shoes etc, but the cost of that one is twice as much. |

looks like previously razer didnt pay them, and now they did cos how can the logitech and razer mouses with the exact same sensor have different ratings? |

QUOTE(deric88 @ Jan 9 2007, 10:58 PM) no.Razer Diamondback and Logitech MX518 are using the exact same sensor, Agilent ADNS-3080, which of cos is made by Agilent. Razer Copperhead and Logitech G5 also using exact same sensor, Agilent ADNS-6010. interestingly, the A4tech X7 also uses this same sensor. you may say, ones Razer ones Logitech to explain the difference... but that doesnt explain the difference between Krait and Diamondback, cos both also use the same sensor. ezinger...
whats with that razer pic you posted? that has nothing to do with the AC-1, rather it shows the HP-1 and Copperhead. AC-1 is the soundcard, and the last i checked about 1 month ago, the distributors Ban Leong still had no plans on bringing it in cos too expensive. aarondotcom, i thought ALLIT closes at 7? QUOTE(clayclws @ Jan 19 2007, 04:12 AM) Hey, just asking. I already have a Soundblaster X-Fi...of which, I think is way better than AC-1...no offense the HP-1 being a 'gaming' headset apparently has certain frequencies for gunshots, footsteps etc optimized.translation - strong mids, weak bass. also it probably gives good positional audio, but i believe even a decent logitech gaming headset can do it well enough with a good soundcard. and even if you have excellent positional audio, what it always comes down to in the end is how fast and accurate you can shoot. the HP-1 not sure on the drivers in it, but i read that it has a 'wall sound hack' feature, in that you can hear objects behind walls etc as if the wall wasnt there. for me tho, the cons of the HP-1 really weighs it down. 1. 60cm short cord. 2. must be USB powered. 3. it claims it has big earcups, yea if you're a midget. 4. of cos then, theres the issue of razer's infamous drivers. i cant really see anyone except for the midget bedroom gamer using these headsets. |

QUOTE(ezinger @ Jan 19 2007, 03:46 PM) 1. your desktop isnt in the next room i've tried the barracuda.2. can u count the drivers in the headphones? 3. it covers the whole ear like every other headphone, and mind u i know ALOT about headphones. 4. dude, theres no such thing as a software driver(if implied) for earphones, headphones.... iv posted a pic of the barracuda. now u post another pic that is bigger than the barracuda so u can make some sense in your post. talk about midgets... for me a good comfortable earcup, the hollowed out section will go around your ear... and not have any part of the cushion pressing against your ear. it still might be comfortable, but the issue of any part of that cushion pressing...well...not for me. thats why for gaming previously i used philips headphones, they have very big earcups. and yea, i'm not the only one i know who prefers using philips headphones for gaming due to the bigger earcups. anyway, something bigger and more comfortable? i would say this, tho its not available here. http://www.steelseries.com/products/steel_..._v2/information btw, heres a review from another long-time razer fan from razerblueprints...who also doesnt like it. http://ariekanarie.nl/wordpress/archives/48 This post has been edited by Everdying: Jan 19 2007, 05:33 PM |

glad you liked the deathadder, but im perfectly happy with my copperhead.
btw, i just scrapped of all the rubber coating on the two buttons, now feels much better. this is also why i dont feel like the deathadder, cos the whole body and buttons are one, and coated in the same material. i'm still waiting for a supposedly wireless mouse from razer. as for your on-the-fly adjustment, guess you're too used to the krait. you can actually re-asign the on-the-fly to whichever button you want to. mine is on the left side button furthest away. |

QUOTE(ezinger @ Jan 20 2007, 12:41 PM) independent statement or review dosent just justify the barracuda [: to your limited knowledge? thought you say you knew alot about headphones.im a 6footer which definitely doesnt make me a midget(no offence) and it fits perfectly covering my ears. to my pov, philips audio is concentrated on music. to my limited knowledge, barracuda is the only gaming headphones with 4 audio jacks and has a HD-DAI input aka DVI connecter and uses more power than any other earphone. but i guess pillows and cushions matter to you more [: p/s: iv got death adder. anyone wants a review? =P btw, wanna see what headphones the razer are modelled after? thats if you havent seen it. yea, sad to say razer are starting to go down the OEM path. anyway, its the turtle beach earforce HPA. apparently cosonic are the manufacturers, so i'll take a wild guess cosonic also makes the razers http://www.turtlebeach.com/site/products/earforce/hpa/ ![]() This post has been edited by Everdying: Jan 20 2007, 03:57 PM |
