It's different, a high dpi mouse doesn't require you to move your mouse across the mouse pad to frag your enemies on the screen. I'm using Razer Krait for my GRAW, just a slight movement will do, adjusting the sensitivity at windows or the game is not the same as using a gaming mouse because it you put the sensitivity too high, the mouse point wouldn't go across the screen smoothly. A high dpi mouse is different, it's responsive and highly accurate.

hey, want to know what's the advantage of using a gamers mouse? a lot says it has high speed and high dpi,it can most faster, but isn't it we can set our sensitivity at windows or in game?

Hi Bro,

I'm using Krait too for my gaming sessions, it's good what. Anything wrong with it? You're not used to its sensitivity, ar? Razer Krait is a good buy and even though, I have Razer Copperhead (birthday gift), I'm still using Razer Krait first. To me, it's a pretty good gaming mice, it takes a while to getting used to it. Trust me, it's better than most mouse with the same DPI as it. thumbup.gif

I dunno la Bro, I love my Krait very much, maybe you abuse it gua, that's why the button got problem. Many people is happy with Krait even though it's the cheapest one from Razer. If it's under warranty, send it for repair lor if indeed there's something wrong with the buttons.

the krait has a good sensor, same as the diamondback.
the only thing i dont like about the krait is the small size and lack of side buttons.

Well, yeah, you're right about it but I'm fine with it. For Diamondback, it's a bit overpriced, for that price, I'll rather go for Copperhead as the difference is not too great. The one my colleagues bought for my birthday was priced around RM225 and it's a plasma red colour. I guess Diamondback is almost RM190, right? I'm not sure about the latest pricing but if the gap is not that wide, it's better to go for Copperhead. For Krait, since it's only around RM100, I shouldn't complain, it's a better buy than most Microsoft and Logitech 1600 dpi mouse. smile.gif

What is the lifespan of the sensor anyway? 100,000 hours? Any idea?

no idea.
but my copperhead has now survived 1y1m with no problems.
dont really see the sensor dying anyway, if anything dies it'll be the buttons first.

It should last long, my cheapo Logitech 600 dpi optical mouse is still alive and kicking after 7 years. Now using it at work. doh.gif

Are the buttons replaceable or serviceable?
