Got a question here, mostly new LCD is widescreen but I dislike the resolution because when playing game, some screen will be in black sweat.gif

If I expand to full screen the ratio will become uneven.

Is the current Widescreen LCD still like that? I own a 17 Benq FP73G non widescreen tongue.gif

But I like the design and according to usa its price about USD$240 for 206bw, sounds like a very good deal, expect around 900-1000 at here tongue.gif

Hey guys, is the Samsung 206bw available already in Lowyat? im coming to KL tomorrow to hunt for a couple of lcd (me and my friend). Other then the 206bw, any other lcd i should look out for? preferably a 20 inch one and my budget around 1k or 1.2k max smile.gif
*
Viewsonic VX2025WM if u still can find it smile.gif other than that I think 206BW is among the best , Dell 2007WFP can only be gotten on their site smile.gif and its much more expensive

anyone knows how the Samsung 226BW fares? it looks damn cool, and is 22"  drool.gif

according to some user review on Hardforum , it seems that Samsung has replaced their initial 'S' panel to 'A' (Aoc panel) which is of lower quality , when buying 226 just look for panel with an 'S' , if u got an 'A' then out of luck , it seems that they started to change the panel to 'A' now

Yea, how do you guys choose a best LCD? I only noticed that alot of people will first ask the response time and whether it is a Ultrasharp or not. Other than that?  unsure.gif
*
Function (HDCP,usb, extra stuff), Viewing Angle (IPS is the current king), Contrast Ratio, the higher the better (most of the time) , and also the Appearance and Price ofcourse smile.gif

u can have the best feature/performance lcd but with a ridiculous price, then its not consider the overall best smile.gif

What model and brand you got? o.O
Kinda wierd situation. Any chance for you to RMA or do a one to one exchange with that shop?
*
Dell only got 1 model of 22" , E228WFP tongue.gif

One to one exchange depends on the manufacturer =) Like the Dell, they might replaced a new one for you if the LCD is beyond repair laugh.gif

haha
but ade some part of text viewing still blur la bro
but all in all a great monitor
*
Try changing to other mode, and play with the Dynamic Contrast, you will find one suitable for you smile.gif AFAIK, no text blurring on 226BW 1

He's might right, I was have a preview on Samsung 226BW from PJ SS14 Digital Mall - All IT Hypermarket.
When I saw it, I am pretty much happy approach and take a look but it look worst when compare with others LCDs showing beside it (especially the Viewsonic just left of it). shocking.gif

At first, I wonder maybe is the resolution settings fault and try to adjust to the 1680 x 1050 maximum resolution but it wont look like changed better.  shakehead.gif

Ok fine, I assume it there are something that I am still miss up it, then I am manually adjust the contrast and brightness but it still the same.  vmad.gif

OK, let wonder maybe is only this showing model unit was totally retarded piss off but why do All IT Hypermarket still let this unit showing out? They are confusing consumers this is what called Contrast Ratio(typ.) 1000:1(DC 3000:1) quality  rclxub.gif

At conclusion, any expert might give me the answer what was the matter actually happen?

Is that Samsung 226BW support HDMI ?
*
I dont know why their display unit sucks so much, I just went last week to DMall, and yes that display unit looks weird and not what I've seen on my 226BW sweat.gif sweat.gif Must be some setting problem
226BW dont have HDMI support
