QUOTE(malayneum @ Dec 2 2007, 01:05 AM) is practical to buy widescreen when i just using 9600xt? i think the minimum reso for widescreen is 1280x720? this will suck performance esp in new games. A widescreen 17" LC native res is 1440x900. You may have to scale down the CS resolution if your GC cannot perform at that level.

QUOTE(eaststyler @ Dec 1 2007, 01:54 AM) warranty?u bought from arb sales? how do we know dell lcd warranty. can we check via online? If you bought online like me, then it should carry a default 3 years warranty. I guess the only way to know is to call Dell as checking online requires the hardware's Service Tag, in which my case... The LCD does not have one Anyway, I emailed Dell on Friday and they called back an hour later to arrange for a unit replacement. Very efficient and good support I would say

Dell product should top up a little more for the 4-5years exchange policy. In that way, you can always have peace of mind I just ordered Dell SP2208WFP to replace my 22" E228W. Need the HDMI input for PS3 This post has been edited by Thrust: Dec 3 2007, 02:47 PM

Please help. I am not sure if this is correct thread for this but what the heck...
Recently just bought my ps3 and read a few replies on this forum stating that you could connect to pc lcd monitor through converter (hdmi to dvi). That is done, just wondering how to make the sound come out ah? Besides the optical out? Any suggestions please?

QUOTE(Dreamworks @ Nov 29 2007, 08:46 PM) My 19" Dell widescreen LCD just died in less than 2 months... So much for reliability ZOMFG! Have you check which part of the monitor? So how, a new replacement? 2 months of usage and died is real powderful for a monitor.
