In terms of LCD real-estate (LCD space), wouldn't 2 identical LCDs side-by-side be better instead of one wide-screen?
Reason I'm asking is that I have a Dell 19" 1907FP. Thinking of whether to get another identical one or go for wide-screen e.g. 22". This post has been edited by kmarc: May 13 2007, 07:37 AM |

QUOTE(asmly14 @ May 15 2007, 12:15 AM) Aiya go for the 24" 1 lah, RM 1999 and it's one good LCD. Planning to buy, but then over spent in these 2 month. Mr. Smith, if I'm as rich as you, I'll take 30", look at your sig Still thinking, to buy Color Laser or 24" to extend again my 19" W. Even RM 899 is so hard for me to fork out, some more RM 1999 Or you have any 22" second hand on sales? QUOTE(arafat @ May 15 2007, 12:26 AM) Nice price, considering it's 2ms and it's 19" I don't know much since I only know how to use but don't know it's worth or not, but in my opinion it's still not so bad. |

Hi guys, I'm going to get my mom an LCD. Max budget is RM 800 but preferably RM 700 or less. I'm targetting 19" or larger sized LCD's. Wide screen or no doesn't matter but it seems that wide screen LCD's are cheaper. Having speaker or not is also not a problem. For connectivity, I'll prefer if it could support DVI eventhough her computer can't support it (for future use).
I went through the Lowyat pricelist, and there are several of them on my shortlist. I'm no expert in LCD's and I hope you guys can give me feedback and suggestions on my selection. BenQ FP92W - 19" WS A+D 800:1 5ms - RM 690 (no height adjustment) Viewsonic VA1930m - 19" WS A+D 700:1 5ms - RM 650 (height adjustment) Samsung 940BW - 19" WS A+D 500:1 4ms - RM 720 LG 196WTQ - 19" WS A+D 3000:1 2ms - RM 715 and ultimately BenQ FP94VW - RM 799 (I love the design and the low 2ms but its price is a little high) Those price were taken from PC Zone pricelist which I think is a little higher compared to other shops, will try to look for these at other shops. What is this ghosting and blurring image you get particularly when watching DVD's and playing games? My family and friends mostly have been using LG 1718s LG 1752s Samsung 740N which I think they have 8ms and I don't hear them complain about there ghosting and blurring when playing games or playing DVD. |
