Hey guys, im planning to get a next-gen console soon and am pretty much stucked between the two. Im not the most hardcore gamer in the world and i wont be buying every AAA title as soon as it comes out. My main focus will 80% be on FIFA along with some racing , fps and comic book games thrown in in between.

Personally i like the XBOX One controller but i prefer the PS4 console shape. I also heard that PS4 has better processing and graphic power. I would like to future proof my console as im not looking to buy every console as it comes out. Im not really concerned about console exclusive titles as well.

I do however notice that the majority of famous you tube gamers like, KSI, GONTH, CSG and Spencer FC use an XBox One. Could there be a reason for this? My cousins have an XB1 as well

Prices are similar here where i live. Any first hand accounts on game-play? experience and maintenance?

KSI, GONTH, CSG and Spencer FC use an XBox One because of FIFA, and the legend players only exclusively available for XBox One.

What if PS4 has legends players in FIFA series? i doubt they still using XBox One as well.

Xbox one and get EA access for around rm 120 if im not mistaken and stream game through windows 10.

but if you ask me, if u like more rpg, and some exclusive, ps4. if wanna get total entertainment, xone . but both console will get same multiplat games.

Personally I prefer Xbox One. At this time, I feel it has the exclusives that I want to play. Forza Horizon 2 and Forza Motorsports 6 are best of class in their respective categories. Halo 5 is sure to be a massive hit. And it will also have titles like Gears of War 4 and timed exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider coming up.

However, ps4 does have better hardware, which you can see when comparing multiplatform games. And of course, the Sony exclusives like Uncharted 4 are serious showcases of the ps4 capabilities. Even formerly multiplatform games like Street Fighter will be exclusive to ps4 (Street Fighter V), Guity Gear (Guilty Gear Xrd). The JRPGs (besides Final Fantasy) are also ps4 exclusive.

Lastly, the ps4 is just a lot more popular than Xbox One in Asia. So it will be easier to look for games, accessories, and players than Xbox One. So, unless you have some strong reason to choose Xbox One, the ps4 is easier to recommend. I also will buy a ps4 in the future, but mostly for the exclusives. For multiplatform I play on pc anyhow.

As for me, my friends are mostly on PSN so i got the PS4.
And later got the XB1 for the exclusives like Halo, Gears of War, etc.

Either way, no regrets for any of the 2.

Guys, wanna ask the same thing also, PS4 or XBOX One. I'm looking for Kinect games and such. Which one is better?

PS4....cos the VR is really good..unlike kinect where microsoft cheated the customers into thinking that there were many games for it coming out!!

Motion detect games = XB1 Kinect wins hands down, it's in different league compared to PS Camera

also PSVR =/= motion detect

PSVR is a single user experience of VR, whereas Kinect is a motion detect experience up to few players
