Hi guys,

Planning to get a new working laptop to replace my current Heavy and bulky Dell.

Please refer the picture below for comparison.

Main purpose is for my Autocount accounting software, Lightroom , surfing, movie, Excel, emailing, stock trading.

I cant decide which 1 to choose.

All of them have 8gb ram and 256SSD and Intel 5500 Graphics

So far Dell is the cheapest and has IPS , 6th gen i7-6500U 2.5GHZ(SKYLAKE?) processor but weight at 1.66kg.

HP is the most sharp and sexy look and its only 1.4kg ( i7-5500u 2.4GHZ) .

Meanwhile Lenovo is the lightest among them 1.19kg!! But I got no idea what is Intel M5Y71-1.2GHZ core processor, Is it good?

if you have any suggestion please propose to me.

Check them out in person as they're all good machines but each has a different feel. They're not your usual laptops. One is metal, the other a combo of metal and plastic and the other is plastic.

I think the HP is the only one that can use a proper pen (not capacitive stylus), but it doesn't look like this is a factor for you.

Also Dell has good warranty support in Malaysia in case you're unlucky enough to get a dud. Also skylake should give better battery life and graphics for gpu activity.

Get the Dell one. Looks more promising. And if you process a lot of photos with lightroom, you require a better/powerful processor. Not to mention the Dell impressive after sales service. Hope this helps. biggrin.gif

do note that the Dell have a pretty mediocore battery life
only the Dell XPS 13 is comparable to the Spectre

don't even bother with the Yoga since it is on coreM

do note that HP is having the next business day support as well (for consumers, previously it was only for printers and corporates).
so Dell isn't the best with warranty anymore

I saw them at Harvey Norman, also Lowyat some time ago...shouldn't be too difficult to play with some samples if you've time/interest. The yoga is the worst on paper but it's very nice in hand.

I saw this cpu comparison: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-5500...tel-Core-M-5Y71

I'm no expert, but the numbers don't look far off each other,
