Sigh, these days Play-Asia is really just not doing their best. Sounds like a case of knowing their popularity and the fact that we are quite stuck with them.

String, since you own so many devices, any idea how much a component switcher cost? Sigh, so many HD devices, so few slots.

In the hundreds bro. Autodetecting switchers can go up to RM300-400. Simple toggle switch ones would be cheaper.

Im waiting for my optical switcher myself.

But finding one of these buggers here locally is next to impossible. Hardcore audiophile/videophiles depends on their HT receivers for this functions.

Yikes...so my Wii component cable will sit in the shelf rotting...

Maybe i should go check my TV has VGA slot, then I'll hook up the 360 using the VGA slot....yes! thats the plan!

Wouldn't the Japanese HDDVD come with Jap menus, just like the Jap UMDs for the PSP?

Man, Microsoft really needs to design their Live points coupon better. Bought mine from Djinn, so happily go scratch it thinking its like any other ala prepaid kinda card. Mana tahu scratch and the whole freaking code nearly got wiped out.

Had a hard time reading the middle four code. Took me a while to try and guess the number and alphabets and finally got my code. Phew..if not RM89 down the drain..

Well, one would have expected the code to be better inked. I scratch prepaid reload cards all the time and it stays tongue.gif

Quality control shouldn't be passed on to customers.

Hehe, tat wouldnt be me. Coz I called Eddie after I saw my code partially mutilated. He told me he can't do anything about it. Didn't feel too satisfied that Microsoft nearly got a free RM89 from me, so stare at the card until I could figure out what was missing tongue.gif

Wow thats a sweet looking device there. How much was it?

So this will also essentially help me in my lack of component input problem right?

The Jap HDDVD player is not region locked. But you will need to buy Region 3 DVDs because the DVDs you can play depends on your console.

just played 3 hours of GOW and its super excellent.

i need to know wether the xbox supports the keyboard and mouse, i wanna be able to play FEAR with it! any ideas where i can get supported keybopard and mouse for my box?

Welcome to the club man.

You can get a third party hardware to support it. XFPS is one of it.

Well, you are not really getting a true keyboard/mouse experience using the rig anyway.

Its a device to trick the 360 into thinking its receiving controller signals from the keyboard/mouse. Tried using SmartJoy FRAG last time, it was easier to learn how to use a controller to play FPS than configuring the sensitivity on the damn thing. tongue.gif

so basically, its not advisable to get the keyboard and mouse? i wish they did support it, FPS would be a million times more enjoyable!! really was looking foward to playing F.E.A.R though on it!

You can still play F.E.A.R, its not that difficult to get accustomed to using the analogue controls for FPS.

String said it was cut short because the player needed to be updated. He is now trying to arrange for a new time and date for the demo smile.gif
