Well, Proton memang emphasize on safety since Preve>Suprima>Iriz. (now maybe future coming Saga/Persona/Perdana replacements too)

Don't think ppl doubt Proton's safety. 5* is still 5* after all, even if its just Asean NCAP and not ANCAP or EURO NCAP. Other cars also cant even get 5* on Asean NCAP.

Only thing about Proton is, their quality control of the materials/fittings used in the car is seriously lacking. (but then again, even locally assembled Honda and Toyota many nowadays having quality control issues like rattling, etc too) So yeah..

If Proton can up their quality control, then they will get the recognition they deserved for producing wonderful cars like Iriz, Suprima/Preve.

This guy doesnt take into account stuffs like airbags. Strong car chassis absorbing most of the impact force, multiple rolls reducing & absorbing the G-forces, etc.

How la now? I know it's unfair comparison, but F1 and racing cars all go above 250km/h. So hit anything sure GG right according to his logic?

Do you know why F1 car drivers can survive crashes with speeds up to 320km/h? It's because the car is designed to be strong & able to absorb large amount of G-forces without it disintegrating into a million pieces.

Preve's no1 marketing/selling point is it's safety features. You cannot be helped, you are way beyond fucking stupid.

Got. I saw before in the FB Group where he posted it.. This is his first accident. His second accident, car total lost already if i've not mistaken (yes. 2nd accident after this one which took 5 months to repair)

He young fella P driver, so most probably young & reckless. He mods his car a lot too. Amazing he is unharmed both times too.

Basically, the front end is damaged. (but the hood still intact no damage lol wtf)

According to him, he hit a wall at 40~60km/h cause brakes suddenly x makan (he modded his car, something must have gone wrong during modding process)
Physically from photo looks, the damage itself isn't that bad. But according to him the engine bent out of position already, so total lost..

As I said, he still P driver and he is also young and reckless.

Baru dapat lesen, not much driving experience under his belt but wanna mod here and there..

His 2nd accident where he said brakes malfunctioned, he could've avoided it if he also pulled up the handbrakes. But he has not enough driving experience and panicked in the moment and instead hit a wall.

that i have no idea, i didn't keep up with him after his 2nd accident lol.

But if still not total lost, then good for him lah. Just hope he learned his lesson and be a more responsible driver.
