just painfully watched the video.....the presenter speaks so slow that my hot kopi already becoming kopi ice jor half way thru the video.

when was the last time you been to Oasis?

Most of the current oasis offices are empty.....

the so called Oasis Square is dead......and even you go there at 11pm....you still need to pay parking.

the residences...the suites.....don't know how many years they have been completed...but my oh my.......very badly maintained.

Who will be the target audience or customers of ARA Oasis? ppl from beyond skypark? Glenmarie? ara damansara? what is the catchment?

Aiyo, the Oasis Square makes me lose confidence in the developer or the management. The main entrance T&G always "rosak" and nothing is done about it. End up have to take ticket. Nvm. But when u go to pay ticket...the machine "Rosak" Nvm. Go inside the office to pay... the freaking ceiling got one big hole with water dripping all over the place... ( it was raining)... nvm.... months later... I went again... the freaking ceiling hole is still there! P.s T&G still "rosak"...How lah...

Sometimes not many ppl like crowded places. Commercial area dont really bother me actually. KD too crowded monday to sunday feel very restless. If u ask me i like saujana, nice place to stay. My cousin stay in SERAI nice condo n had a friend stay in Saujana bungalow those you buy land n built. Ara is a good place to stay if u ask me. I dont see this place as a failure. All property in KV should be good la.

Oasis square dead?
That's not true la bro..especially during the day time with the SD staffs around.
Got time you can go take a look for yourself la.
It used to be super easy to get parking there but nowadays especially during office hours I have to look a bit harder.
Even commercial places like Dataran Ara Damansara is becoming more crowded by the day. Go take a look yourself during office hours lunch time :-)
I cant comment on the residences and the suites.
The main target audience for the Oasis AD is the SD group of companies staffs and those people living in this area.
SD is in the midst of moving their plantation, property and auto subsidiaries HQ here. I heard as many as 5k - 10k SD workers are in the midst of moving here.
Uhmm...dont believe u can go take a look at the parking situation at the Ara Damansara mosque in front of Seri Pilmoor during Friday prayers time.
More if you include their cronies' companies.
SD is planning to build an office tower in the future here https://youtu.be/GsBLDiYuIyo?t=7m16s to house some of their plantations, property division support companies e.g. law firms, title companies, architect firms, engineering firms. All closeby to their plantation and property division HQ mah.

AD great public transport accessibility is helping with bringing in the crowd although slowly.
AD is accessible by 2 LRT stops with a third one near Dataran Prima LRT3 station coming in a few years. The AD station has approx 800 parking bays.
Folks staying here have the option park their car and ride the LRT into downtown KL, KL Sentral or PJ town within approx. 15-30 minutes.
Even the recently completed MRT1 help with the accessibility of AD with the feeder bus T807 service from Surian station.
https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mi...C101.58943&z=14
With all the high-density condos/apartment under construction now, traffic is going to get worse by the day in this area.

dataran AD only jammed because of the irresponsible drivers at chinese kopitiam there......

lunch time crowded bcos within the entire AD, not many kopitiams around........mamak stalls got few....but I dunno how crowded they are. I almost never go to oasis square for lunch, but banking yes. No problem finding carpark. A lot easier than taipan USJ or midvalley or menjalara......triple parking kau kau during lunch time,

I never tried Ara damansara LRT. I don't know they have 800 carpark lots there....I once went to Glenmarie bcos it looks big.....but to my dismay....not a single parking bay there after 9am. Even the illegal ones also difficult to find unless you want to illegally park outside the carpark compound.

Its ok if you feel upbeat about AD. I too find AD a good place to live or stay.....just that commercially, SiME darby......no high expectation.

One more thing, after 12am midnight.........you cant find any restaurant open for supper.......maybe McD24hrs at citta mall only.

I wonder why they need to charge parking 24/7?

yes concur with the parking boot.....a pain in the xxx.

and the single entry and exit doesn't help much......

Now that you repeat again, my blood also reboil again. tongue.gif What kind of management can allow the T&G access system to be perpetually "rosak"? I cannot understand. That is your main entry to the place. And like you say, and now I say again, the payment machine also spoilt, the office "bocor" and many times the exit gate also spoilt! And not one week, 2 weeks...it's been like this for YEARS!!! bangwall.gif

Agreed, irony is the car park system machines are by 3M, and the 3M office is at Oasis.

Anyone been to SD Cantara showroom, not far away from Potpourri?

For some reason, Cantara does look like another Potpourri, no? Heard they too offer fully furnished homes

Yes I knew where are both located, just saying they were not far away from each other though not in walking distance.

I am curious on the resemblance of Cantara and Potpourri. Also the demand for fully furnished housing these days, SD seems confident with such market hence the Cantara?

Potpourri is within walking distance, maybe debatable in present standard, but not for long. But again, with the money to blow on such a piece of property, you really expect resident to care if it is walking distance to LRT or not?

The question as I posted earlier to begin with, was never about the distance between Cantara and Potpourri whether was it walkable or not.

Question was has anyone visited the Cantara showroom which was located not far away from Potpourri?
