How do I stop the videos from loading and running on my timeline?
from google....try these method....cannot la....any idea???
a) For Chrome browser: -Go to settings -Click on 'Show Advanced setting' - Click on 'Content Setting' tab - under the 'Plugins' click in 'Manage Exceptions' - Add the Facebook Url and set the 'Behaviour' to 'Ask'
b) Google Chrome:
Go to settings. Show advanced settings. Find Privacy. Click Content Settings. Find Plugins. Choose the "Click to Play" option.

Scrolling the video off the screen also stops the video (or at least pauses it). Drawback is if you leave the page and then come back the video will most likely start playing again. If you are using IE browser: click Tools icon on your browser toolbar > Safety > select ActiveX Filtering.

This can be easily done through the Facebook settings.
1. From the top right of Facebook, click and select Settings. 2. Click Videos in the left menu. 3. Click the dropdown menu next to Auto-play Videos and select Off
