As the title speaks, I'm searching for a prepaid with the same or lower sms rate than U Mobile Power Prepaid(8sen/sms). Also, I prefer the longer validity over other things such as internet data(really don't care) and phone calls(although cheap is better). I don't really care about the data as I'm currently using U Mobile Power Prepaid. The plan is really good but I'm searching for any possibilities that a sms plan rate is lower than my current plan.

P/S: I'm using dual-SIM phone, so I do have options

DG Best still have one year validity option called Super Long Life and the basic sms rate is 6 sen with rate of 2 sen for favourites.

Friendi has the same sms rate as U Mobile(8cent, as it is using U Mobile's network), but validity is not an issue as with every sms/call/reload you'll get 60 days validity(which is literally unlimited validity)

consider onexox. They had long validity but their sms rate is not very attracting though. If you are looking for a balance between long validity and cheap, friendi is your best choice.

Well, you're using U Mobile right, why ask me Anyway, I literally have three telco's sim(UM, DiGi, Celcom, Maxis(through U Mobile)), so U Mobile does not really have a very limited coverage actually, but it does has its blind spots(but every other telco has it too, it all depends on your area, see which one is better there). If you don't data on that sim, you can put it to run on 2g only, so it will use Maxis's network for calls/sms/data, I believe Maxis should be good enough for you, no? if Maxis no signal can put back U Mobile maybe got signal, not bad no?

If you need data + sms, then Altel would be a better choice(its rm28 internet package has 1gb data for 3 months, extending your credit validity to 3 months from the day of subscription as well), however for your use case, if you don't need that then friendi would be the better choice.

That aside, since the 1gb is free for power prepaid, the remaining 30 ringgit tak cukup ka for your calls + heavy sms

Well, first, Friendi only uses U Mobile networks, not including Maxis Local Roaming networks.. So the coverage may be limited than U Mobile on coverage.

Second, I'm just looking for any possibilities if there' another telco offering a better call/sms rates. I know that U Mobile Power Prepaid's rates are really good..

And also, what about Hotlink? Is there another Hotlink plan except #Hotlink for new user? Or how about Digi Best Prepaid with lower sms rate?

How many people you sms regularly? The 2 sen rate for favourites applies to 20 numbers on any networks if you activate line before 30 November 2015.

Calls to DG Best favourites are 10 sen/min.

I essentially does not call/sms more than 10 people. All from different telcos

So you can message/call all 10 for 2/10 sen under DG Best.

DA acount: 5 cent same network/10 cen to other network

The DG Best, if prepaid value used-up or expire after 30-day validity,
how many more days can received call / SMS / internet before line terminate?

The 10 kawan, if name 8 first, can add 2 later?

75 days, and internet is barred over this period.

Can add kawan any time.
