Is it me or i can't seem to see enemies. Worst in operation locker.

Already did. The fark up thing is when kill cam shows an enemy is either in front , back & side of me where the fact is i never saw them in those positions in the first place. Suddenly kaboom im dead.

thats where experience comes.
to find them u must think like a monkey.
where would a monkey hide etc.

You can try to use the IRNV or FLIR scopes

After 30hrs of game play..i concluded that i cannot like this game. No matter what map..kill cam shows enemy is few feet away from me & i can't even see them until they kill me (kill cam) Being killed by some dude whose at a corner far away beyond a wall with a machine gun? man that's fucked up. Metro & locker the WORST..ping <50ms also i can't see.
Man the graphic is great..is just that this game lack substance compared to BF3 the fluidity, the game play etc. Just my 2 cents.

bf4 is 'harder' and 'heavier', it has weight to it

yes it lacks bf3 snappy quick controls

but gameplay and content-wise, bf4 is improved a whole lot more

even crouching / proning against object like wall is proper (not unlike bf3, seems you can merge inside the object / clip inside walls)

everyone who came from bf3 to bf4 feels the same

you can't just play 1:1 coz they're not similar, you may be beyond godlike in bf3, but play bf4 for the few first time you're suddenly less than human

you need to adapt and make the transition

like everyone else i did, i loved bf4 as well as bf3

both requires slightly different handling

in bf3 it's easier to do tricks and such

bf4 needs to plan ahead abit more, and be cautious

you'll get used to it

consider yourself lucky gameplay is much better with better netcode nowadays

every bf3 pros get their asses kick in bf4 first time

coz the handling is different, not better not worse

give it a week or so more

you'll get used to it and start kicking ass like back in bf3

I guess you're right should squeeze in more time for the game...

for me,

1. Try not to expose yourself from being seen on minimap or spot by someone else with Q, MAV, Sensors, don't simply fire ur gun if not necessary, going by less expose path, or use sliencers, don't make too much noise like running too much in enemy territory , if u want do some stealth surprise kill

2. do not stay at the same spot too long, camping in bf4 = suicidal unless you are at the spot other ppl hard to reach you

3. Do not searching enemies only by your eyes, always listen, there's always footsteps and guns noise if enemies around, so you can pin point them, always look at minimap scan enemies, so you know where enemies possibly are, help spotting enemies so your teammates will aware of them and take them down.
(in real life battlefield, enemies are much harder to see than in battlefield game)

4. Don't go alone by urself, always go with squad members, if you are the last man in squad, do not engage enemies, stay alive, stay stealth, until your squad members respawn at you.

Now I can only think all this battlefield 4 basics , anyone feel free to add

In public server there's little to none teamwork. Too many lone rambo focused too much on the k/d other than helping the team winning especially those col 100 / 140

i started playing BF4 last 2 months ago, no BF3 experience, till now KD 50% only lol, skills around 160.

at first month also same problem with you, run run run then suddenly die. KD lower than 30% LOL.

then become slightly better - always try to flank, and never walk on an open road/area unless got vehicle coming along and help suppressing the enemy. when getting shot without knowing where the enemy is i just keep jumping and running to cover.

yea agree on the teamwork - teamwork is rare in BF4. I only remember once i join a squad full with the china people using mic, listening to their command and act as a squad instead of lonewolf, good time haha, a bit annoying though lol.

I feel you dude..it is often discouraging playing this game, i would say 80% of the time i hate this game so much. I would say myself as an average player with k/d around 1.2+ back in bf3 but definitely i don't suck or get badly thrashed like in BF4.
Often play with singapore server domination mode, I don't know how those top players manage to kill some with 100+ kills with death less than 20 times. When i play it's always the surprise element like suddenly an enemy appear in front out of no where, got killed out of no where even in smoke where i can't even spot the enemy, while the enemy can see me & don't get me started on the netcode, understand the mechanics of the weapon they say, well i say fck that advice. Been shooting with control burst all of the time & 80% of the time i'm dead even from a distant by some guy with ACE 32. Often i feel that those players cheated with their godlike accuracy, some with ping of 200+

I think i'm gonna quit for good playing this 'broken' game. Regret so much that i even bought it.
