I'm planning to create a new or join an existing (if there is any) WhatsApp Group for Grabcar or Grabtaxi drivers.

Of course the group would only be able to hold 100 participants at any one time.

We would be able to share any updates/news instantaneously.

What do you guys think?

I wonder why this hasn't been done yet.

Uber and Grabcar folks, with the help of experienced people from the media, should go undercover and record on those taxis that do not want to use the meter. Before all this fiasco they can be easily found at shopping hotspots such as KLCC, 1u, Sunway, etc. just a stone's throw away.

Then publish the video on most of the social media portals, and carry an article on this expose in a couple of the prominent print and online newspapers. Do not censor their number plates and faces.

I wonder if any "prominent print and online newspapers" would want to unnecessarily face the risks of dealing with The Edge saga. What would they do if they get persecuted for publishing these stories? What if, instead of getting the intended result, they get persecuted for illegal recording / unauthorized publishing or reporting / some other random bullshit?
