Hi, I just get my new Wise Card last Friday. I request Gold Card. It still give me Gold Card but it tag along another Platinum card.
But not to worry, I just called in and cancel the extra card given. :-) haha ....

I switch from Maybank 2 Card Platinum, because 5% rebate only for dining AMEX. Sad...... only remain x5 points.

There's no CB for insurance. I have 3 Maxis bills every month, petrol is 3 - 4 times a month, so that's 7 consistent transactions for CB each month. Since you need 10 transactions to activate the CB, i have my auto-debits to the card so I don't need to always remember how much more I need to charge to get those 7 "fixed" CB.

Thanks for all reply and clear my doubts. This forum is useful ! rclxms.gif

Hi I had 2 questions to ask again. Today first time use the HLB.

1. Today I first pump petrol at Caltex. I use outside auto machine and pump till RM55. After a while I received SMS said I debited RM200 from Caltex. I called the bank it said normal and will return back the money back to card? It is first time I hear this. Normal?

2. Pump at outside with machine will not get 10% rebate? Need to enter counter swap?

Thanks

1. The bank holds RM200 from your credit limit. After the merchant claims from the bank for the amount RM55, RM145 credit limit will be released back to your card.

2. Only swipes at the automated machine could gain 10% rebate.

Thanks Lucas... Noted.

1) Yes, normal, this is just per-authorized transaction, normally the SMS amount is RM200.
You first time use credit card to pump petrol ??
2) Need pump outside of machine, not counter (no rebate)

1) all petrol station also will hold rm200-rm250 when you swipe at the pump. but petron has a feature that you can preset the amount you want at the pump and only the exact amount will be charged to your cc.

2) terbalik.. enter counter will not get 10%.

1st time use card pump petrol cause you should know the rm200 hold by the bank if use card. You miss lot of CB since the 1st day you pump petrol with cash tongue.gif

Previously I used AMEX Maybank which have x5 points and 5% rebate. But since last year Aug2015, the AMEX benefit have change only for Dining have rebate.
So I have switch to Wise card recently. :-)

Beside, you guy get first year free annual fee? How you check your statement? We don't have saving account at HLB can register online HLB with only CC account?

Thanks brother.

Yes - 1st year free. In your first month statement, you should see a charge and a waiver.

Yes, you can register with only CC account.

HI,

Would like to ask the mobile rebate. I had read the page #2, but still not understand.

I walk in into Digi centre to make auto billing via my WISE Card. It this consider rebate 10% under bonus category? If not, how should I pay my Digi bill in order to get CB.

Thanks all ...

I don't think auto-billing works for Wise cash back.

To pay Digi bill, just use MyDigi App, Digi website (My Digi) or walk in to Digi Centre.
For me, I always pay mine via MyDigi App and never have issue in getting cash back. Moreover, the latest function of the app allows one to save favourite CC details and pay for other Digi accounts too. biggrin.gif

Hi Thanks your reply. Huiyo.. really mahuan ..hehehe

How about if we pay the Digi bill via online HLB Internet under Bill Payment via WISE CC? Anybody get CB for this?

No, bill payment via HLB doesn't work for cash back.
You can try UOBPayOnline and it works.

My suggestion is still the app, I'm using it every month, so easy to track and pay my bills. rclxms.gif
