Hello all. I understand that those who have selected the "utility" category have successfully paid for their TNB bills via UOB payonline.

I'm yet to try it myself but I'm curious as to whether or not we are allowed to pay in multiples of RM50 for a single bill. Like 10 X RM50 for a RM500 bill?

I've gone through many pages here but couldn't find lah sweat.gif

Hi, another quick question.

When paying TNB bills on UOB payonline, I'm prompted to insert a "Bill No.".

What do you guys put ah?

I only see No. Akaun, Kontrak and Invois Cukai on my bill sweat.gif

I just received my first statement today and to my horror, the 10 transactions of RM50 each done via UOB pay online for my TNB bill were not categorized under Utilities, which is one of my selected categories.

Has anyone experienced this before? Did you get any cashback? Thank you!

not categorised under utilities?? when you did that 10 transactions?
*
I did them about a week after activating my card. I had a few successful transactions in the week preceding that. I made all 10 transactions on 17 December and my statement shows that, except that they are not in any category.

Have you been successful in getting a cashback from TNB payment on UOB pay online ah?

If not considered utilities ah, I really dunno where else to get my cashback lah 😅

TNB via UOBPayOnline is utilities. All of us who chose this category pay via this channel every month and we got it without fail.
Self satu, spouse satu.

Thanks fruitie. Are those TNB transactions supposed to appear with "Utilities" next to them in the statement?

My petrol swipes had "Petrol" next to them in the category column but not my TNB swipes.

Soooo, as my TNB payments through UOB Online were not categorized under utilities (or any other category for that matter), I decided to pay a visit to the officer who processed the application for me.

I was told that online payments are generally not accepted and that payments must be made at the TNB counter bla bla bla. I told him that's not true as my fellow Lowyat forumers have been successful in getting their cashback.

After 15 minutes of ding dong ding dong, he checked the system and found out that he registered the wrong category for me =.=

And now I've lost two months of cashback for utilities. That's about RM140.00.

Moral of story: Lowyat forumers > bank officer

any update on this?

------
To all: the card is delivered by courier or normal mail. When can I expect to receive the physical card after the approval sms?
*
Sorry for the late reply. The bank officer registered the wrong category for me. I'll only be entitled for cashback in the "Utilities" category for my February spending mad.gif Had to pay my phone bills in advance and pump extra petrol to maximize my otherwise unused cashback.

Quick question: If I'm not on HLB Connect, in what form should I expect to receive my cashback? It's not reflected in my monthly statement.

How about your unbilled transaction?

Unbilled transaction? I'm not too sure about that lah. But is my rebate supposed to appear as a "rebate/cashback" on my statement? I don't see it anywhere.
