QUOTE(leo_kiatez @ Oct 17 2015, 05:57 PM) Anyone successful to add HLB Wise into maybank online, M2U as additional favourite credit card? I received an email mentioned my request was rejected. Btw, anybody had added this Wise CC & paid for unifi/STREAMYX & received 10%rebate for utilities? As I know, in M2U; IWK, SYABAS, TNB, TELEKOM/UNIFI is under Utilities payment... :-P Alot of ppl mentioned before hlb tracked based on the bill name..they only recognize tnb and syabas..others than that, all are not consider utility.. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Oct 31 2015, 07:01 PM) we both did discuss it at v5 thread yea, in self care there is a top up feature, similar layout with mobile app...not sure if umobile have fixed the merchant name display. i'm avoiding using the app for bill payment. btw, have you tried Self Care? i'm not sure what are the features in there for Prepaid. I suspect different payment methods: bill payment (postpaid) and reload (prepaid). anybody tried either 1 of these before? I am planning to do a top up as my aeon big gift card credit finished already. =X |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Nov 14 2015, 12:42 PM) very likely no, possibly due to 2 reasons: wrong MCC and/or telco name not stated. umobile reload can be done via umobile self care reload...under mobile category, just tested last week, few days ago the latest statement categorized it as mobile i tried reload umobile @ qoo10. not under Mobile category. |

QUOTE(kart @ Dec 29 2015, 06:21 AM) My SMS threshold is also set at RM 1. I thought when we submitted dispute form through bank, the chance should be high? Bank has the responsibility to investigate and contact this with merchant.I agree with you and victorywp that my method is too tedious. Last time, when I called the Customer Support to solve this double-transaction issue, the Customer Support Officer refused to help me. The officer said that maximum liability will be placed on the credit card holder to ensure the accuracy of the transactions posted. In event of the double transactions, it is solely up to the cardholder to liaise directly with the merchant and the acquirer bank (which supplies the terminal to merchant). The card issuer bank (Hong Leong Bank) will not be liable for the double posting. The Customer Support Officer only gave me the 6-digit approval code, to be given to the merchant. The officer said that the card issuer bank is unable to void the double transaction, and thus has the right to charge the amount twice to the cardholder, even though it is clearly the merchant's fault. The worse case scenario is that the merchant refuses to void the second (incorrect) transaction, even though I have given them the 6-digit approval code. I may choose to submit a dispute form to my card issuer bank, but the officer said that the chances of voiding the second (incorrect) transaction (through dispute form) is rather slim, and I have to pay the same amount twice. I am unsure whether the Customer Support Officer is lying or not. That is why I used the tedious method to deal with the merchant directly, so that I am 100% sure that the second (incorrect) transaction is successfully voided by the merchant. Appreciate some genuine advices from the credit card experts here. I have personal experience with ocbc bank. I bought phone online, and after a week it shows double charge in unbill transaction.. I called merchant, merchant said they only charged once, then I called bank, bank just asked me fill up form only and I no need to pay that disputed charge until investigation completed...few weeks later received called from merchant said sorry for the double charge and then also received call and letter from bank stated that investigation completed and charged will be reverse..I check through online unbill transaction there is a new reverse charge.. Another experience on last month when I used wise at my hometown path lab.. The cashier swiped the card, and it hang there, but I do received a sms.. The pathlab boss asked me go other place first and come back later as they will contact bank on this..after 1 hr, they called me said the charge wouldnt post to bank, and ask me come back n pay by cash..I called wise cs, and they said the charged go through, but if merchant didn't submit, it wont be listing in ur statement, they can't do anything to reverse it, asked me wait 7 days to see whether it posted to my online statement or not.. I paid the merchant by cash eventually..that charged txn amount will be deduct from ur total limit initially, after 1 week I noticed that it add back to total limit and didn't charged in my online unbill transaction This post has been edited by red_scorpion: Dec 29 2015, 05:18 PM |
