QUOTE(victorywp @ Dec 24 2015, 11:34 PM) yeah, i received twice. things like this happen on and off. but usually they will only charge once based on the slip that i sign, while the other will be cancelled since there is no slip and no signature. that's why i confirm the problem is from aeon big. further to confirm this, aeon big posted my earlier 3 transactions without delay, while this fourth transaction of mine was posted late and twice. Do update us on the investigation outcome after ur complaint.. |

QUOTE(ytan053 @ Jan 8 2016, 03:18 PM) This reply would be more on OCBC card and since there is no thread on OCBC card (closed down already). Is it confirmed u must spend RM2000 for Fortunr card per month? I thought my understanding is they will only credit the cashback to u once reach RM20, if no, it won't carried fwd to next month?I am thinking an alternative to essential card due to the revised terms of this card. As I have been maxing out hl wise card, public visa signature card and aeon watami with maybank 2 card as spare card since amex still gives 1.25% tp equivalent. Since the additional monthly spending is below 2k (excluding other ad hoc major spending), fortune card is a no go. i thought of 2 alternatives as below:- 1) OCBC GE Master Card/ OCBC Platinum Master Card. Pls tell me that there is no difference between these 2 cards other than the word "Platinum". Since we are getting 1% rebate up till 1k spending, it sounds like a good replacement card to me. This 2 card has the exact same feature as OCBC 365 Master Card except that the GE card has 0% Auto-IPP for GE insurance, which would be super useful for me since my whole family is using GE as insurer. 2) Continue to use Maybank 2 Cards since i am still getting 1.25% tp equivalent and if amex cant be used, it would be the 2nd card (Visa/Mastercard) @ 0.25% tp equivalent. Just wanna confirm with OCBC GE users:- 1) do i still get the 1% cash back for monthly PRUDENTIAL insurance charge to this card which is about 1k a month? Since this is a GE card, not sure whether other insurance charges considered as local retail spending. 2) Let say I charge GE insurance of RM12k a year and do auto-ipp, i would be paying RM1k a month. Does this RM1k eligible for the 1% cash back or only 0.1% only? the auto-ipp is 0% interest BUT is there any upfront fee/processing fee? It sounds like OCBC GE card would be great for me because I could not spend some of these additional spending with amex. Pls advice. Thanks!! |

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Jan 8 2016, 07:51 PM) yes you need to spend rm2000 to get the rm20. if not, it won't carry forward to the next month. this is the reply i got from their FB CS Wah, quite misleading tnc.. If I can spend 2k per month, I will go for watami card d"Morning, upon checking, customer will not entitle for the real cash earning if did not meeting the minimum cash back threshold of RM20.00. However the monthly retail spending will be accumulate for your total annual retail spending in order to entitle for the extra yearly real cash earning. For more information, you may log on to https://www.hlb.com.my/main/personal/cards/fortune-card . Thank you." |
