Getting Started

HI All. My monitor had just gone dead....I'm wondering instead of getting a new PC monitor, will it be good to get a hdtv and hook it up with my pc? Since the pricing of tv is lower...
Not using it for gaming, mostly for internet browsing, sometimes youtube-ing

it wont be as good close up, i can tell you that. since TVs are larger, while maintaining the same screen resolution, the pixel density is much lower, so you'd have to sit slightly further from the screen than you would with a normal screen. If you have a TV and dont wanna spend any money, buy all means......go for it. personally though, i would prefer to get a cheap Full HD 22" monitor at MYR400+/- wGST
