I'm using U Mobile on my Asus Zenfone 2, and I use LTE. I commute everyday along Old Klang Road from Mid Valley to IOI. My LTE signal will occasionally disconnect and reconnect back when I'm on the bus along Old Klang Road.
The situation: I'm on the bus using LTE, having full bars, then suddenly my connection is lost the signal suddenly goes down to no signal. And then after sometime as the bus moves, the connection will be back and working. And after sometime again drops and reconnect. This happened along Old Klang Road and Jalan Gasing too (near Federal Highway). I even experience this in other places. But if I set to 3G only, it works perfectly, no dropped signal no connection lost etc.
Anyone can confirm? I'm using E28 rate plan, the plan is not listed as 4G supported plan, but I can use 4G although things mentioned above happens all the time

There's nothing you can do about it.

But the price really best There's no need to turn on 4G unless you are watching HD videos or watching live stream. 3G can handle everything else pretty fine, furthermore it consume less power than 4G.

Same. I'm on U and using Zenfone 2 too. Signal kept disappearing. Had to wait few mins or reboot the phone.

not only U mobile,i'm using Celcom also meeting the same issue. Because 4G is using 2.6Ghz which has smaller coverage per cell tower and no any mobile service providers have yet covered seamlessly. When you choose 4G first, your phone will prioritize to search for 4G signal first and if that fails, then search for 3G and 2G. That process takes time, especially when moving. I think it's normal in current stage.

QUOTE(Imjuzcy @ Oct 7 2015, 09:23 PM) My phone sometimes won't even connect to 3G if 4G no signal unless I set 3G only it could happen in some area when 4G is weak and so most phone will drop the signal and search for alternatives. That will cause some delays to establish the connections to cell towers and all those phones are contacting the cell tower concurrently and there's some limit at one time.
