Almost can't go ot the gethering today. And ended going to Balai Polis instead. Why?
Someone tried to rob me last night... :'(. I'm walking home from work late last night when a group of 5 men in motorcycles approched me. They demanded my DS Lite which I'm holding (listening to FF3 intro music).I think they mistaken it for a mobile phone (which I don't have). When I refused, they ganged up on me and throwing punches and kicks on me. But still can't take the DS Lite from my hands (thank god for the wriststrap). When they realised that someone coming to my help. They made a getaway with their vehicles. At that time, I droped my glasses and thought that they running away with my backpack which contain all my DS and GBA games (7 DS games, 3 GBA games). I gave chase on them and almost push one of the motorcycles down. But they managed to escape despite being chased by other car drivers. I went home, feeling really sad, not only I lost all (except my FF3 inside my DS lite) my precious games, but my effort inside each of the games. My 99 999 Trainer Points in Nintendogs, 1000+ matches in MPH, TT times in MKDS, my perfect town in ACWW and much more.... So I went out in search again with my family. And finally found my backpack untouched on the roadside. I guess the robbers missed it during the struggle. Other than some scratches and bruises, and a broken earphone. I didn't lose anything to them. They failed in life and even a bigger failure in crime. >:( So thank you very much to other road users who gave chase to the robbers. I know you all done your best. All was fine and little harm done. I guess I better be more careful when I walking home alone at night. Still going to the meetup. Wait for me will ya'?? QUOTE(ying123 @ Dec 2 2006, 12:10 PM) Oh gosh, what a scary event If they bring knife or parangs. Just bring it on!! I don't know whether I should say you are unlucky or lucky, as robbers/snatchers in my area usually carry knife/parang. They seem to believe action is more useful than words And to hell with those stupid robbers can't even differentiate a handphone with the greatest handheld ever |

QUOTE(bidfordun @ Dec 2 2006, 12:22 PM) I rather not. I want both! They don't deserve my games nor my lives. If they want a bloodshed, it's either theirs or mine!! Should I make a police report or just forget about it?I better start going to KLCC right now. See you guys and gals latter. |

QUOTE(bidfordun @ Dec 2 2006, 12:37 PM) Maybe you're right. I still can buy the games later....But have to sacrifice my handphone fund...(still don't have 1 yet...)I guess It's time to get a new glasses, since my old one was scratched during the struggle. (I haven't change it for more than 5 years) Really have to go now. See you there (if you can make it to KLCC). |

QUOTE(hairyLGS @ Dec 3 2006, 09:52 AM) I heard there was a commotion before I and Suet was there one hour late... don't know what happen though but it would be great (as I found out only yesterday) to see a swap of NDS and PSP owners, each of their own to test out the others to see the difference... Is not that we're all rabid fanboys. But we just couldn't just give our beloved handhelds to some someone you just know.I know how's it like to play NDS games because Suet owns one... sometimes we play each other's handheld (like she play my Loco Roco while I play whatever games she has... usually for me its Brain Age and Super Mario Bros. DS). I'm not use with the stylus though but learning. My mum is a NDS Lite owner and she plays only games that's either came out from animated films because she like platform games. But maybe next time, if we one day don't become a fanboy of our own handhelds... we can swap our handhelds and each can test out of our handhelds to see what fun it is to play a Nintendo DS and a Sony PSP... Then... both parties also own both handhelds of their own each... CHUCKLE... Hope the next Fiesta NDS/PSP won't have the same friction... But put heldheld swap session in the next gathering OK? |
