Nichrome, imo same as kanthal minus the metal taste you'd get at the beginning. Titanium, nickel ni200 for TC. SS 316L is the best again, imo, clean taste. 317L also for TC at half the risk of ni200 and Ti wires. Oversimplified but you get the idea.
Definitely get 26g first. It's the most versatile wire gauge to work with.
Guess if that were my only option, I'd go for Smok since, "ooh purrdy lights". Like
Vail I'm too a Yihi fanboy.
Thank you for taking your time to share. Appreciate that. So in your opinion that kanthal will have some metal taste at the beginning aye? But it's weird cause I recall reading someone posted that his nichrome have metal smell here few pages back.
If between kanthal and 316l Stainless Steel wire, which would you choose, buddy?
6.11usd for 26gauge X 50m
7.64usd for 26gauge X 50m
Heck, not even sure if I need that much. ππ

How long a coil lasts depends on the coil material, how good yr wicking is, what u vape, how often u vape, how hot u vape, and how often u dry burn. NOTE: do NOT dry-burn Ti coils...google why u shouldn't do so.
In my own experience, if I vape DIY juice, a coil made of kanthal can last up to 3-4 weeks, Ti and nichrome lasts up to 2-3 weeks. I just change when the flavor reaches a certain point...I can't describe it, but that flavor tells me that the coil is a gone case and it's not worth cleaning and rewicking any more. Sickly sweet local juices with colorants will gunk coils faster resulting in more cleaning/dry burns and hence a shorter lifespan.
BTW, don't forget to update yr Evic mini's firmware if it's not already on v1.20. It's my fav carry-around mod and works great.

Thanks for sharing mate. Looks like you do enjoy your evic mini, really can't wait to get my hands on them. What tank you're using on your evic mini? I have heard about the new firmware that bumps up the power to 75w. Isn't that nice? π
