Those are great for travelling especially if you're going into a no-vape areas. But kinda underwhelming for daily usage. I haven't seen any shops that carries this kind of eGos except for pasar malam stands.

laugh.gif True dat. But everything taste and smells better now, it's just so good when you're not smelling like a ashtray with legs.
Nowadays I could knock on my neighbor door's and go "So, we're having fish head curry tonight eh? brows.gif " when last year I couldn't even smell the "surprise" my cats leave me in the bed.

Guys, what do you think of Uwell Crown ?? Im currently using Subtank Mini for 5 months already, should i try the Crown ?? is it true the Crown RBA is sold seperately??
*
Yes to all.

It's on my lips as I'm typing this and I have to say, it's the best tank I've tried to date. Power hungry, get really thirsty and MC Hammer "You can't touch this" level of heat, still not as bad as Smok TVF4 (new owners or potential buyers beware) but I'm loving it.

*Didn't have time this weekend to fully delve deep into the RBA section but did a quick .09 ni200 build on it and so far it works great. 25J at 450f, still a slightly warm, still too cool of a vape for my green tea blend but at least it doesn't leak.

Ha! I'm actually losing weight due to vaping. My hands are always full, my mouth are always riddled with flavours *so snacks are moot, I can run for 5km without slowing down instead of wheezing while laying in a fetal position after 2km jog and of course my vape budget is slowly bleeding into my food budget. So hah! Suck it lady!

No top fill, no bueno. I mean even kepun have a top fill bellcap since last year ffs. I've seen it but haven't tried it so I don't know how it performs but IMO, it sounds too flimsy to be decent. It's like the Ditto of tanks. You have the looks and the skill minus the stats of those it copied.

Whops.. Gotta keep a lid on that nerd power level sweat.gif

Still using the same coil I've used when I was giving my first impression review so it basically paid for itself. Just used the RBA base since I didn't want to use the ni200 coil, yet. The RBA section will lead to some drooling at the AFC ring when using top filled. Not much, just a drop or two but I think that was due to my wicking.

Taste, hits like a normal dual coil setup on my Velocity. Vapor, Jesus-tap-dancing-Christ. I'm not a cloud chaser so at times it felt waay bigger than it is.

It's a goddamn great tank but I'm not sure if its suitable for the daily grind for some people. Reason being, need 45w for the .5 ohm dual coil head, I went through 15ml easy and you can't stealth vape on this tank. But the RBA section will cover for this, just tinker is as you'd do on the subtank. Me, personally? It's the best addition to my daily arsenal, along with other tanks for swapping flavour.

RBA base, easy to work with. Same design as the Kayfun and Subtank RBA. A bit smaller tho. 3mm coil would be a snug fit horizontally. Vertically? Haven't done it yet so no comment on that.

Taste, still gives off a damn good flavour but I found the coil head better. Might just be my built and preference. Was using TC so I didn't get that same warm vape you'd get from a kanthal, same for the vapor production. Just had it setup today so YMMV.

For a new user I don't really recommend using a subohm tank as a starter since you'll be missing the same restrictive pull you'd get from a ciggy.

Of course it'll be fine after some time getting used to, but some would still have a hard time quitting it completely.

Still if you're in the market for a subohm tank, I'd say go for the Subtank mini. There's a reason you're seeing it everywhere. The D2 is solid. Using it myself.

While the whole set is decent, I'd say you're better off with D2+Subtank mini combo. You'd have an extra 25w and TC mode just in case you're interested.

Try IPV D2 + Uwell Crown or Smok TFV4. These 2 tanks are the best. Uwell Crown kit does not come with RBA (Rebuildable Atomizer). You have to buy it separately.

If you wanna go crazy with clouds in the future, go for IPV 4S or IPV 3 Li + Smok TFV4. Dual coil RBA for TFV4 is sold separately.
*
Whoa there cowboy. I can't tell if you're helping him or killing him. Killing with kindness that is. Yes, I'm not saying they aren't great tanks but I don't think it's new user-friendly unlike the Subtank.

The reason why I've recommended those tanks is the difference isn't big when it comes to new users.  The top refill is already a big plus for Crown and TFV4. When the user wants more, they don't have to upgrade. I still see a lot going to vape shop for recoiling and maintenance anyway.
*
Preach brother. I'll vouch for the Crown as well. laugh.gif

But for someone whos coming off a ciggy, that might be way to overwhelming. I'd recommend the Nautilus mini for that "cigarette drag" feel but I don't think people appreciate it's beauty anymore. The Subtank mini is a great starting point just for new user to pace themselves with vaping. For some, it's a whole new world.

guys, wanna get recommendation.
im awaiting my Uwell crown from fasttech. most youtube reviews said the OCC is as so superb that no one bother describing the RBA kit

so for uwell user, anyone can advise should i hunt for RBA kit (where its impossible to get so far in sabah) or stick with occ.

thanks vapers
*
If you'd look a few pages back, I did my own review on he RBA section. OCC performs better. RBA still good, better than most but fall slightly short of he OCC. Definitely get them just in case you want to build your own coil.

It's fine. S. Korea didn't ban vaping but from what I've gathered, they're mainly deal with DIY juices like what they have in *US B&M store, where they mix their own fresh brew according to your order.

Well that depends on your luck really. A buddy of mine got a package from thedripclub with 5 suprise bottles of US juices and they made it alright.

QUOTE(faizrajaie @ Oct 12 2015, 03:48 AM)
Kutulu v2 looks promising for subohms and can do single coil too..
*
Too much parts man. While the reviews told it works fabulously, it's a PITA to set up.

QUOTE(TristanX @ Oct 12 2015, 09:33 AM)
It could be the mod.

The PG (Propylene Glycol)/VG (Vegetable Glycerin) blend ratio from the juice also affects the cloud. More VG gets you more cloud. The coil size (wraps) also affects the cloud you get.

Also, not recommended going 100% VG on tank. The cotton saturates extremely slow.
*
This mainly. Your build, mod, batteries, and juices. Too many factors to simply guess why someone is getting less vapor.

My guess helldagger, you need to build lower and shoot higher wattage or switch to at least 70vg juices to sate your urge for big vapors

RMBBUST is still valid until 31/10 y'all.

Seems like people are getting their jimmes rustled when the whole e-packet (Chine to US) got cancelled, UPS (also for US) returned several orders back to FT and ofc the whole fiasco during the Golden Week. So the kind-hearted FT decided to extend their promotional code to milk us empty from our hard earned cash... Now let's see if I can get a second Crown delivered within this month.

*
No problem. Just the atties and accessories mostly. Mods are fine too especially mech mods but me personally, I'd get them locally since if anything goes wrong I could exhange it with my retailer.

Depends on your mod actually and if could support Ti mod or not. My D2 could go up to .3 ohm in Ti mod so TC could still be done within that limit.

Past that and I'll burn my cotton or worse, titanium dioxide, since it'll just read it as a normal kanthal. Know your mod people.

im refilling fcukin flava juice once a day and charging my batt every 6 hours. burning at 16w.

Any longer lasting battery out there? currently using lghe2 1865 for single coil.
*
Hah. I'm going through 15ml per day right now. But 6 hours is just ain't right if you're firing only at 16w. Even chain vaping should still leave you a day worth. How old is the battery?

Batteries are the money pit on vaping. I don't recommend using a battery that's older than 10 month. Means your batteries are discharging faster as their cycles through. Unsafe, but normal

Uwell Crown 4ml sometimes refilled more than twice, Taifun G2 5ml a̶n̶d̶ ̶S̶u̶b̶t̶a̶n̶k̶ ̶m̶i̶n̶i̶ ̶5̶m̶l̶. That'll get me through the day and I drip at home on my Velocity RDA. 15ml is when I'm having a good day.

I don't find myself using Subtank too much these days. Used to be my hassle-free daily driver but meeh, I have the Crown for that. Now it just sit on the shelf with the others.

Aah.... I've read of complaints of poor battery life on the Sig 75. Since you're only vaping at 16W, you can switch to a battery with a higher Mah like the LG HG2 (3000mah).
*
This really. Piss poor battery and no Ti support. Not to mention the overly generic box look that made me feel like I'm holding a scarecrow's dick with all that edges.

Crazy shit man, wanted to dry burn my Clapton coil in my Goliath V2. Pressed the fire button - nothing. No glow. Looked at the screen and it said 'No Liquid'. It was in Joules mode. I had forgotten to switch it to Power mode. Put cotton in the coil and fired - 'No Liquid'
Don't know how or why but my D2 V2.0 just did temperature protect with UD Clapton wire.
Thoughts, my friends?
*
Now that is some spoopy shit right there. So I'm guessing you're using the 26g/32g UD Clapton, right?
Just to be on the safe side I have to ask, you didn't put it in TC mod but it read as one?
How many wraps and ohm?

6wrap 2.5id 0.76ohm.
Its in TC mode. Ni mode 32.5J, 470F.
I'm baffled but its really not burning the cotton.
Hey Nekkid, you got any Clapton to try on your D2?
*
Actually I have it on my D2 since this morning and I have a dual claptop on my Velocity that's edging on .3 but never had that problem and it's like a week old.
Have you tried manually changing the setting back to VW mode? It should be kanthal both inner and the outer wire.

Try firing the Claptons in Joule mode. I had been experimenting about a week - firing Kanthal coil in my D2 on Joule mode. The vape is slightly wetter than Kanthal in Power mode.

In case you didn't know, the D2 will fire on any wire in Joule mode.

Its not a problem. Its an effing breakthrough!! Temp control on Kanthal Clapton.
*
laugh.gif ait man I get wat cha mean now. Jesus.. I had to read that twice until I got what you mean and it's not about your spelling or anything man. It's me and my empty glass of good bubbly frothiness back then.

The work around have been around since D2 first came out so I do know that. But that does not mean it could read and regulate the temp of your build as good as it was intended, with nickel. Never tried that so while it's a new discovery to me, it's not something I'd say 'practical'. But here's hoping TC in kanthal soon.

Haha.... My bad. Got happy too soon. Had forgotten to reset resistance. The moment I reset it, the Clapton glowed. But I still feel the vape is wetter when firing Kanthal in Joule mode.
I'm not really happy with Ni or Ti wires and remember I had been experimenting with 316L wires. AndyK, a FT regular has a video on the D2. Using 317L SS wires he vaped till the cotton was pretty dry. It shows that the D2 has some form of Temp protect with SS wire.

*
Yeah, 316L/317L SS is worth messing around with. Was wondering why I got such a huge difference in my Crown then my other attys and after a lil Google-fu, bam, SS is superior in every way. But this dude in the vid is just shooting around in the dark right now. D2 can't or rather does not have SS support, yet. Only X Cube II does for now but it's shitty. There's a hype going on Reddit that SS is gonna be the next thing in TC but until then I'd stick with VW mode for now.

Well you've said it yourself that D2 could fire up anything and even better demonstrated it for us so it's not really surprising to see him do it too. But ircc 145f in SS is equivalent to 400f in ni200 so that's a huge gap that our D2's chip still can't handle.
