ok assuming I don't uplift, the next cycle starts Saturday immediately (board rate)?

QUOTE(sandkoh @ Oct 30 2015, 10:24 PM)
unkle don't just argue for argument sake.  shakehead.gif  on monday people terminate and take it out. so nothing to do with promo or board rate. if you did not withdraw, starting on saturday (mature on sat) it will start with board rate.

why want to argue. lose 2 days interest if you take out on monday.

murid ram, save some breadth, why keep on arguing. laugh.gif

I got my 4.3% for 12 mths pure FD at CIMB (conventional).  How to attach photo here?  I took a photo of my cert with my phone but Im accessing this site with my PC.

Since I dont have an account there, have to open savings with atm card and also end up with 2 credit card without annual fee and an umbrella.

4.25% for 6 months just launched? Or late in releasing by the bank, just like HLB late release of 15 months step up

Their 6 mths with 20" bag looks attractive as compared to the 4.2% offered by UOB and OCBC. But UOB not sure 4.2% still avail. by Monday. biggrin.gif

yea, but what attracts me is their short term 6 months at 4.25%p.a.

doesn't wish to tie up my funds for long term sweat.gif

It depends on the individual. For me, have spread out to 1 mth, 1/2/3/5 yrs FD. Now going for the 6 mths FD. Instead of putting in with OCBC/UOB, move some more funds to AmBank to get 4.25 and one bag !

CIMB 4.3% as reported is good. But some how questions posted by other forumers not yet answered. If valid, I will also go for the 4.3% ! biggrin.gif

Maybe I will place with ambank for 6 months but the amount of my funds definitely not entitled for the bag cry.gif

currently still placing under OCBC e-SmartSavers 4.0% p.a. promotion, since interest for Oct will be credited by end of today thought of placing under AmBank tomorrow, but too bad the 6 months promo only starts on Monday. may not have time during weekdays sweat.gif

Well to be honest, I do not know. But I think is doable since they mentioned CASA. They didn't specify which casa. tongue.gif

I think someone did that for the 2 years 4.6% FD. Interest credited to TrueSavers every 6 monthly.

If it's me, I will argue with them if they refused. You guys didn't specify what type of CASA. And Truesavers is a SA. Why cannot? There's nothing in your T & C saying cannot use Truesavers.

Btw, if cannot, just open BSA, then when interest is credited into normal bsa, transfer the interest into TrueSavers via online banking. Extra work but it's free and instant. thumbup.gif biggrin.gif

How can you go to bank and place for promo FDs on Sunday? Banks are close unless you are located in Kelantan, Terengganu and those states. And I don't think one can get promo rates online. shocking.gif
