I think the "silence" (from every player) may can be seen as a deafening c'est la vie OR a au revior sadness that the tactical genius has left the building.

I know in this forum has been almost a unanimous bon dรฉbarras / pej ยกvete con viento fresco!

From the current team as far, only ibe, lallana & mignolet posted on Instagram on the departure of Brendan

Interesting take from thierry Henry, he feels the timing is a little disrespectful to the club. He and carrager felt Brendan should have been sacked last season. (What were they thinking?, sacked everyone but Rodgers, gave him tons of money to spend, then sack him now barely after 8 games. The new manager can't get his players in until Christmas.

Technically even offered a 3 year contract, But it's 2 3/4 years to run and this year can't be "counted" as there is no pre season for him to bed in players and trying tactics on the training ground.

Klopp or if not klopp, this season technically can't be faulted shd it miss any target

To be honest, although i always dreamt of BR leaving. But T Henry was right it was a very bad timing for the sacking. Should had just sack him last season.

Hope it doesnt affect our players in any bad way.

Yeah I thought the timing was weird too. Expected him to at least last till Christmas and wouldn't be surprise if he lasted the entire season given how FSG backed him this summer after last year's horror show especially that final match.

But looking at what the reports are now suggesting, FSG had always kept an eye on Klopp. The only saving grace for Rodgers is Klopp's insistence on taking a short break from football. No one expected his sabbatical to be this short. As soon as FSG saw the opportunity to get him, they pounced. This leads me to believe that had Klopp been willing to takeover in the summer, FSG would've done it.

Sure some might blame FSG for not sacking BR in the summer but had they done it then there wasn't an option as attractive as Klopp so they probably thought why not wait for a bit and it worked out. So thank you FSG?

i expect the sacking happen at the end of october if br failed the tough matches test. yes, the timing looks weird after we win and draw but i'm not really complaining as i feel international break does give liverpool more time to appoint a new manager.

fsg defintely shoulder more blame for our current situation as they should sack br during the summer but if not mistaken, both klopp and ancelotti refuse the take the job at that time. fsg probably contact klopp and ancelotti in advanced to see their response before finally decide to sack br. the whole thing does look pre-planned to me

Like klopp said : sometime, timing is very important..

He need a rest 3-4months..so owner just give br another few months to turn around which is far better than we start the season with no manager..

The owner is american,,, as we all know , american are not that idiot

Yes I would rather have BR than no manager or worse yet another subpar manager say Garry Monk for another 2-3 years of uncertainty. The gamble paid off guys, stop blaming FSG for not sacking him earlier, there were no good replacements.

Someone must have fed FSG the Fergie 5 yr blueprint and told him TIME will fix all the issues just like how love conquers all.

Let's play conspiracy theory here, maybe, maybe they wanted BR gone last season but klopp didn't, felt it wasn't ready. (FSG still kept an eye for him)

conspiracy theory will add, maybe the players in are within klopp's scope of players (TC did some calculations??) and they knew they will move for him sooner when he's "ready" and shd Rodgers fail to raise Liverpool

But but, on the contrary some added, Brendan had more say this season for players brought in.

..??! .??? Which is which and what?

not stupiak if it is all a ploy to fish in the kloppo!

they played the waiting game and look to be in a winning position now.

what would u have done if u felt if u are willing to wait a few more months and one of klopp or ancelotti might then be tempted to take the job

or would u rather have garry monk when both klopp and ancelotti wouldn't take the job in the summer? tongue.gif

You can laugh now. When Real Madrid comes knocking for him in 2018 it won't be that funny anymore.

Wales is inching closer to their first major European Cup berth...and I have shortlisted a few players to win the Player of the Tournament award. brows.gif brows.gif
