Ramen from a shop in the Dotonbori area of Osaka costs less than that. 700 yen is about railway station ramen shop price.

Cheapo breakfast you mean?

Onigiri. That would be stuffed rice balls. Under 200 yen. Price depends on filling.

Onigiri is typically sold at either a convenience store or a streetside stall so yup eat with your hands. Buy a drink from vending machine lar. It's Japan. Their vending machines are awesome.

Tricky bit is the Japanese consider it rude to eat while walking so you have to find some place to sit down like a park bench.

Local onigiri not very good. It's actually quite nice over there, especially the ones bought from street markets.
