Inside got a tube with uv lamp.
The water goes thru sensor. Tats how they know how much litres used.

I cut open the filter in donut shape, put inside car to absorb smell.

So it's connected to the internet via ethernet cable?

No no. The filter top there got electronic circuit.
Then wirelessly connect to top cover. When due, the top cover will display icon d.

Oh, so I'm guessing the call centre calls at an estimated time frame and asks you for the reading.

I'm an unvoluntary user. (Not my purchase)

The filter element has a countdown timer. It also have a water volume measure. I can rant and rant how much this filter is a con case. I have simple question Amway will not be able to avoid.

If i buy new filter, use it for 1 day, then turn it off. Then 365 days later turn it on, and the filter requires to be replaced. So there is timer. It does not justify the UV lamp is not reliable, the bacteria already incubate or the filer deteriorated. In the end its just con case. When the filter is programmed to be replaced even before you hit 5000 litres it is already a con. Waiting to hack this stupid unit, so i will never ever need to pay RM500 for that cartiudge ever again.  vmad.gif

Is there a substantiated scientific explanation for the fixed time to change? If scientific evidence proves otherwise, you can claim a discount from them and even make a complaint to the National Consumer Complaints Centre.

Carbon filter removes chlorine.

Also, how long you boil the water?
Go check the Internet how long does it take to remove all the chlorine.

Does Malaysia use chloramine?
