QUOTE(dasecret @ Nov 26 2015, 03:46 PM) This is self service investment, no agent involved. ahhh.. barang bagus! Open an account, get the EPF forms posted to you, fill them up and send back to FSM office.... a bit more work than agent coming to you, but the amount you save make it all worth it; and so much easier to monitor thanks ya.. so.. siapa nak jadi referrer ? i put as referrer when i bukak account This post has been edited by melz84: Nov 26 2015, 04:47 PM |

QUOTE(T231H @ Dec 10 2015, 09:22 AM) maybe the answer is hidden somewhere inside this? yeah.. i read that too..Q: What can I do with my Cash Management Fund? A: There are 6 main types of Cash Management Fund transactions ........ ......... http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/faq/0...ent-Fund-2-9718 "This transaction is equivalent to placing a buy order using the Cash Management Fund. ".....maybe this sentence clears it? the line that says "You may buy a unit trust via the Cash Management Fund with ease, as long as there is sufficient holdings in your Cash Management Fund. You may simply specify the ‘Cash Management Fund’ as the payment method during the buy process. The invested amount will be deducted from your Cash Management Fund holdings, and it will be used to buy a unit trust immediately as long as the buy order is placed before 3pm on a business day." and "You may place an inter-switch order to switch your Cash Management Fund to another unit trust without any lag time. The sales proceeds of your Cash Management Fund sell order, after deducting the prevailing FSM sales charge, will be used to buy into the fund which you have chosen to switch-buy, without any lag time. This transaction is equivalent to placing a buy order using the Cash Management Fund." |

QUOTE(wonglokat @ Dec 10 2015, 09:51 AM) Think of it like your e-wallet and the amount you have is represented as units. When you need to purchase a fund X, you pay for that in the form a switch sell-buy (your CMF units are converted into the corresponding value and then used to buy fund X). Either that, or you pay by other methods (e.g. online transfer). Betul la kot... hmmm.. okay.. that part i got it right..Not sure if there is any difference in processing time between the two. just thinking about the charges if both would be the same... anyway, can't wait till next week.. hopefully some good funds have 0% sales charges |

QUOTE(wonglokat @ Dec 10 2015, 10:20 AM) Charges? Switching CMF to any fund X will have to pay the sale charge indicated for fund X. If you meant charges for purchasing CMF units then there are no charges up front. itu i tau ler..just confuse niaa.. why have 2 options if both are actually the same... buy UT with CMF = switch to UT with CMF |
