Just compared it to Eastspring GEM

In the early years Eastspring GEM pwns the RHB fund

But for the last 1+ year the RHB fund wins hands down, must be due to Modi booster power shocking.gif

This is a feeder fund to United China-India Dynamic Growth Fund.

I doubt it is the strength from RHB. whistling.gif

Idea Of The Week: China A, China H & Red Chips - Know The Differences! [6 November 2015]

The Chinese equity market has garnered a huge amount of attention starting from 4Q 14 last year, beginning from the news of the inaugural Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect initiative, to the tumultuous “roller coaster” ride of Chinese A-Shares this year – rising spectacularly and then plunging almost as spectacularly in 3Q 15. Naturally, investors who are not familiar with investing in China would wonder about the various types of Chinese equities out there. In this “Idea of the Week” segment, we talk about the Chinese equity market and briefly explore the differences between the Chinese A, B and H-share markets.

For the month of November 2015, Manulife China Equity Fund is FSM Fund Choice

MYR weakens to 4.35 level in the morning session. doh.gif

Somemore Jibby said don't blame Putarjaya for the weakness in the MYR. Come on! If it's not him nor the government, who else is responsible or at least have some efforts to defend/mitigate?

Dow falls 150 as oil resumes slide; Nasdaq off 1%

U.S. stocks closed more than 1 percent lower Friday, pressured by a continued decline in oil prices and soft reports on the health of the consumer.

Crude oil came off session lows to settle down $1.01, or 2.42 percent, at $40.74 a barrel.

Ringgit fears intensify as commodity prices test new lows

A FRESH wave of selling in energy, hard commodities and precious metals markets has broad ramifications for Malaysia’s economy and threatens to put the ringgit under renewed selling pressure, say analysts.

Crude oil and copper prices, which are considered barometers for global economic growth, are testing new lows this week. Gold prices also plummeted to a multi-year low in spite of its “safe haven asset” classification.

This coincided with the fall in the ringgit, which hit RM4.376 against the greenback late yesterday afternoon, or close to the 17-year low of RM4.45 in late September when global markets were roiled by high volatility across all asset classes.
