QUOTE(T231H @ Nov 8 2015, 09:08 PM)
Q:  Is credit system applicable to all switching?

A: No, Credit system is only applicable to Intra-switch, not for Inter-switch.
However, there are certain funds which are not available for Intra-Switch. Please refer to SWITCHING OF FUND FAQ for more information.

I know that, so...? Did you reply to wrong person? I was replying to a question whether the credit can be used for different fund house. If the question was for inter-switching between different fund house, of course no. I thought the question was whether credit obtained by intra-switch with fund house A can be used for intra-switch with fund house B - Z. Alright. Nevermind then.

Anyone know where can I get back funds NAV price back to 31 December 2014?

Was just calculating how my funds performed and yield a double digit IRR %. That's good right? Or should I ask better than FD/EPF return?
*
Just send email to your favorite CIS. They will send you both NAV and dividend-adjusted price. For all my funds, I have them back to mid 2012.

Asia Plantation Capital has been practically begging me to attend their promotional event for the last couple of months. Maybe I should attend the next time they call.

Strange. I got mine back to 2012 as recent as September unless they just change their policy. What fund you need? See if I have it.

Metals. Gold. Silver. But exactly a good time to invest. It's still dropping.
*
Not a good time yet but watch closely. Buy only when an up trend has been established. If still want to enter, only play the bounce. I profited about rm6.8k or 18% from recent bounce.

QUOTE(Yishin @ Nov 28 2015, 07:16 PM)
As $8 is to be deducted for PPA annual charge,  is that mean we can only claim tax relief for $2992 if we bank in only $3000?
Same for prs promotion,  do we need to bank in $3008 to entitle the promotion gift?
*
RM8 deducted is claimable in income tax, so your total invested and claimable is $3000.

yes,...from your example...you can only claim $2992 tax relief.
and you need to add in the GST too for the other fees....
see....
"Paying RM 10 PPA fees"

*
RM8 deducted by PPA is different from RM10 for account opening. The former is claimable in income tax but not the later.

Ha ha. I've done this like more than 10 times already. Never send them the current statement as well but you probably should continue to do it. You signed, scan and email to your favorite and friendly CIS for faster effect. But you also need to snail mail them the hard copy else your friendly CIS will chase after you.

efficient

Surprising. Normally IRD is very efficient. I would normally get back overpaid text within 2-4 weeks after e-filing. Of course you file it quick and get money quick as well. If file very late, then wait long long loh.

with yuan currency going into IMF basket of goodies, any opinion on that? full speed ahead china?

China is the way to go, according to my paid investment advisory.
- trillion of dollars will move into China's bond and appreciating Yuan
- trillion of dollars will move into China's stock due to MSCI starting to include China A-share into MSCI EM index

Well the thing you don't get from free version is what to do, when to do it and also free info usually released couple of weeks or months after the same information is available to their paid institutional customers.

In my main portfolio, right now is 23. sweat.gif 14 equity funds of which 6 I want to get rid off at the right time. 9 fixed income funds of which 6 are paired with equity funds (same fund house) for switching. There many more funds in 5 beneficiary accounts that do not duplicate my main account.
