Hi,
I am planning to get this build (first time building pc)

i5-4460
R9 380X NITRO
Seasonic M12II EVO 620W
Asrock Z97M anniversary
Kingston DDR3 1600 MHz
WD Blue 1TB
Thermaltake Versa H25
Hyper 212 EVO

But I just found out that Hyper 212 EVO doesn't fit Thermaltake Versa H25. Is there any cheaper case or same price with H25 (but not bad quality) which is compatible with the rest of the components?
And is there any good motherboard that is cheaper than the one I mentioned (also not bad quality) which is compatible to everything I mentioned?
(P.S: I won't change proc, cpu cooler, gpu, psu, ram, and hdd)

Don't really need to go for Z97 mobo if you're on a lock CPU. Either choose H81, B85 or H97 chipset

Probably can go for something like Asrock H97M Anniversary - RM 299. (Price from Etech inclusive of GST)

XIGMATEK AQUILA MICRO ATX CASE - RM 199 ( Price for Techview inclusive of GST)

Oh, thanks for the suggestion !
Btw, does the size of the cases affect anything in particular? Would it be better to have higher case? Any higher cases suggestion within the price of the one you mentioned? (preferably cheaper but not bad in quality)

Hi guys, wanna ask again

This would be my last build, what do you guys think?

i5-4460
R9 380X NITRO
Seasonic M12II EVO 620W
Asrock H97M-ITX/ac
Kingston DDR3 1600 MHz
WD Blue 1TB
Cooler Master N200
Hyper 212 EVO

I'm still wondering though about one last component which is mobo, I was going to get H97M, but found out it has no wifi support, so I'm thinking of choosing H97M-ITX/ac which is quite expensive compared to H97M Anniversary/Z97M anniversary. So, is there any other mobo maybe which is less than RM400 with wifi support (good quality)?

Thanks !

You're better off to get a normal H97M and purchase a PCIE Wifi Adapter which would cost significantly less.

You can always get a WiFi adapter (PCI-E or USB), not necessary to go for mITX mobo, you lost many features with mITX mobo such as RAM and PCI-E slots.
*
Thank you very much ! Will go for H97M then !
so everything else is good right? (like compatibility stuff, etc)

Hi guys, sorry I wanna ask again,
This is my last build as what was suggested in the previous posts
i5 4460
Asrock H97M anniversary
R9 380x nitro
Seasonic m12ii evo 620w
Cooler Master n200
CM hyper 212 evo
2x4gb kingston DDR3 1600MHz
Wd blue 1 tb

What casing fans do you think I should get? I'm thinking of getting corsair AF120 performance edition twin pack since the case I chose comes with 2 pre installed fans. So, is it worth it? Or any cheaper alternatives which are not bad? (I dont care much bout noise compared to cooling)
Thanks!

No problem.
You can try CM JetFlo or Cryorig QF120, much cheaper than Corsair AF120.
*
Oh thanks !
But I just realized that my MOBO supports only 1 cpu cooler (4pin) and 1 system fan (4pin). I would like to have all fans installed if possible, what should I do?
(so it would be 2 front, 1 top, 1 rear and 1 for cpu)

You can buy the 3 pin fan to molex converter

Many ways to solve this:

1. 3 pin fan to molex (as mentioned by st4Lk3rz), if your casing fan is PWM type (4 pin) then you will lost the ability to control the speed of the fan.

2. Buy casing fan splitter cable.

3. Buy casing fan power hub like NZXT Grid Ten.

Just checked out NZXT Grid Ten. It's RM 82 for it.  yawn.gif

But it can power up to 10 casing fans, it is nice if you have a full tower and want to put 10 casing fans with LED strip to show off your rig  brows.gif

I think NZXT Grid Ten will be too much for me (using CM N200 m-atx case), i just need to be able to run 4 casing fans + 1 cpu cooler. So which alternative is better? (molex or fan splitter cable)
P.S: I don't even know how those works

Either one also can. But make you sure you cable manage nicely for it to look nice.
*
QUOTE(terence_nwb @ Jan 16 2016, 10:23 PM)
Molex converter directly connects the fan to PSU, which means the fan will run at full speed, might a little bit noisy if you are sleeping beside the rig.

While fan splitter splits the mobo fan pin connector to 2 or 3, which means the fan is indirectly connecting to the mobo which you still can alter the fan speed if needed.
*
Okay" thanks, I don't like lots of cables, will there be a lot of cables if I just go with NZXT Grid Ten?
Another question is, should I use high static pressure fan or airflow fan for intake and exhaust (casing)? Any notable 15 mm fans? (my case specs for top)

NZXT Grid Ten got 10 slots, and it is plug and play style so if you only have for example 3 fans then 3 cables only (not including the cable to connect the hub to mobo and PSU yet).

Static pressure fan is good when you are going to put the fan beneath an item, i.e. water cooling radiator.

Airflow fan works much better when there is no obstacle, so you have to buy the one which suits you more.

As for 15mm casing fan, you can look for CM XtraFlo 120 (Slim) and Prolimatech Ultra Sleek Vortex 12, XtraFlo has higher RPM (faster but noiser).
*
Okay", so I have decided to buy 3 Jetflo 120 and 1 Xtraflo 120 (Slim) (Case: CM N200 with side panel window), but is it possible to control the speed of 3 Jetflo (I don't want to use the silent adapter provided) while having Xtraflo runs at maximum speed?

Thanks !

JetFlo and XtraFlo are PWM based casing fans so you can control them via software if and only if they are connected to mobo 4-pin fan connector.
*
I actually want to control the Jetflo only while letting Xtraflo running at full speed or control all but non-concurrently, since Xtraflow has much lower RPM. And I have one 4-pins header left only on my mobo. I read that I can use Swiftech 8 Way PWM Splitter or Gelid 1 to 4 PWM Splitter, where can I buy this anyway? Try to search for it, but seems like no one is selling.

Thanks !

Hi again guys,
Which HDD should I choose?
WD Caviar Blue (WD10EZEX) or WD Caviar Black (WD1003FZEX)?
Tried to search for it, some said blue and some said black. So I'm very confused at the moment.
