Intel Core i5 6500 - RM 889
MSI B150M Bazooka D4 - RM 409
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM - RM 289
Zotac GTX960 2GB GDDR5 Single Fan - RM 819
Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB SSD - RM 229
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 225
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 189
Thermaltake Versa H25 - RM 139
BenQ GW2255 - RM 390
Logitech MK200 Wired Combo - RM 65

Total: RM 3643 (Techview price inclusive of GST)

Very tight to squeeze in all the parts with 3.5K budget especially with monitor and SSD included, hope you are ok with the minor over budget, if cannot, downgrade the i5 to i5 6400 and you can save roughly RM 80.

Thanks ! but iis the 2400MHz RAM really necessary? Kinda pricy for that

Will cooling be an issue for the Zotac GTX960 single fan? It's so cheap that I'm abit worried. Anyone with experience with this?

i get 81-82celcius when running furmark stress test  (i'm using mitx casing, so i guess my airflow wasnt good enough). But ok for me since it is cheap and have 5 years warranty. LOL
*
Okay thanks! Warranty includes if GPU overheat and spoilt anot? Is it a nobrainer that the Zotac 960 would outperform the Gigabyte 950 Xtreme ?

Warranty should cover it since overheat isn't really caused by you purposely  hmm.gif

960 always > 950.

By judging the price of 950, don't even bother to get it, not worth the money. If you are worried about the temperature, you can get the dual fan version (MGS:GZ version) at RM 840 from Techview.

Where do you get the pricelist from Techview, can't find it from Lowyat.Net.
and is the store in Lowyat?

Hey,i am planning to build a computer from scratch, discontinuing the laptop tradition of my family haha. My budgt would be around RM3 500, as i posted last week for gaming and casual school use (Interested in Fallout)

I will reuse my mouse only,so aside from the rig i need a monitor too.

I would like an Intel chipset, Nvidia Card and a 1080p monitor, not to mention a SSD for super fast bootup speeds. Also is it possible to use Windows Product key from my laptop to use on this new rig?

Thanks in advance

Zotac GTX960 2GB GDDR5 ZT-90306-10M - RM 840

Laptop Windows license key is OEM key, not transferable, you need a new key to activate Windows (not included in the build).

Thanks !
1) According to the website of the PSU, it says that it supports only up to 4th generation, what does it mean? and will it affect me?
2) Is there another monitor that is 1080p but non-glossy? ( IPS or LED) but with around the same price?
3) Can i take my friend's windows 7 key to use it on mine then?

Thanks again ! thumbup.gif

Also, I plan to get a router for my unifi and if possible hypptv. Do I need to buy a new modern too? My current router (tm default black box) range is so lousy,1 floor directly above also can't use. Also, the ping I get is shity, can't get a stable connection without restarting the router. Every game before CSGO I am forced to play on deathmatch just to test my ping. Whenever I skype with my friend together with CSGO = instant unplayable, Skype can't even get a stable connection and doesn't appear me as online...so need to restart it. Budget below 200 iF possible

Below RM 200, Asus RT-N12D1/N12HP (slightly above RM 200)
*
What about those from TP-Link? And actually what does it mean to be Unifi/HyppTV Compatible?
Thanks again !

UniFi/HyppTV compatible means no complicated steps or configurations needed during setup, it just works out of the box.

TL-WDR3600
TL-WR1043ND
TL-WR841HP

If the above TP-LINK router cannot work with UniFi, you need to disable Hardware NAT in settings, some may need to flash firmware to Malaysia version to run.

I see, and about the case. What do you think about Aerocool? Aerocool 500 windowed white edition looks slick, but is it better/worse than the Thermaltake Versa H25(Functionality, Airflow, etc)?
-Edit
Found some monitors, realised yours is cheaper, remembered wrong yawn.gif

If VRAM usage is > 2GB, R9 280 will have advantage, otherwise they are almost the same
*
So should I opt for the 280? I found a seller selling it for rm780++
